Had uppers and lowers on my black car. Really needed subframes after that, felt like it would crack the windshield from twisting

Re: What did you do today?

Ran into an OLD guy with a 00 v6 that had a 99 cobra motor in it. He said he bought it because the shaker hood looked cool. This thing had so much money into it. Cobra brakes, subframe connectors, grill, chin spoiler camber plates, complete sways, complete billet interior, cobra tailights, Y2K 18's, so on and so on. The motor looked clean, like brand new. Fan wasn't kicking in, found out it was the temperature sending unit, now its fine. This thing was awesome, he really didn't know what he had or what to do with it,."It looked cool and drove fast kicking *** end out all the way to 4th gear"! LoL

If you can run 5 miles you can do a 10k 6.2 miles with no issues. Try a 10k I think you would do fine with it. Just run it to run it don't worry about time.

True, but muscle weight can be an advantage. You just have to reconfigure those muscles and get back into running shape.. Its not an easy sport but you'll have more ****ty days then good ones.

Solution: Switch your runs up. Try finding trails, new routes, adventure out and vary your distance.

Make sure you take at least 1 day a week off.

For a 5k I usually suggest Sunday- long, or off. Monday-long if Sunday was off. Tuesday-hard, Wednesday- medium distance mostly a recovery day conversational pace, Thursday-Medium hard. Friday- easy short recovery, Saturday- race, or hard.

Heart rate monitors do wonders. You'll easily find your max's.

Good shoes help as well they are worth the extra money. Inserts I only recommend them if your having issues. Use running shoes for running, but you can always get another pair not for running.

Lastly, your running too hard on an easy run, If you can't talk. ( I'm not directing this directly at you Tim.) Just throwing out advice from my years of coaching to anyone who wants it.

Thanks for the info that's pretty much along the lines of what I'm doin now every once in a while I do a run for speed I do a 5 k for speed and my fastest so far was 21:58 which is a about a 7 or 8 minute mile which isn't bad for long runs but ya I like to run outside sooooooo much more than a treadmill but I've gotten phenomena from running in the cold and in mn it's like 10 right now my dr told me to stop running outside so it gets pretty boring running around a track 100 times no matter what I'm listening to on my iPhone! And your right the right pair of shoes will do wonders to your running abilities!

The steering wheel also has a carbon fiber-ish overlay now, but it got too dark for a pic, so maybe tomorrow.

No problem! Your pretty fast. Damn no way your greeting me out for a run when it's below 32. (I'm sure you're laughing) Check out breath thermo from Mizuno. That's good stuff. I hate the tread mill as well.
