Vick served his time for dogs. He did two years and lost 100 mill, at the exact same time Dante' Stallworth hit and killed someone while drinking and driving. I don't agree with abusing ANY animal, but on that same note IMO a human life being taken is much worse because it affects the families of the deceased and the one drinking and drivings family, just a little perspective.

Now I do not think he should be playing football because of the illegal gambling. NFL has a zero tolerance for gambling, in fact they have ppl that come around every year and speak to every player and coach. They have signs in every locker room stating 'No Gambling', you can be banned for life for playing a scratch off ticket. He funded/bankrolled illegal gambling, which IMO is detrimental to the integrity of the league as a whole.

Oh... A town in NC, is trying to outlaw them in city limits.

Punish the deed not the breed.

Agreed in every aspect except that not only because of the illegal gambling, but he should not have been allowed back because football players (sports in general) are idolized by young kids and they Gould have made an example out of him. That was absolutely inhumane what he was doing. And the other guy who killed while DUI whole have recieved more severe punishment as well. I think anyone DWI should be held accountable to first degree murder if they kill someone while drinking because I consider it premeditated if they knowing get in a car after drinking.

Any pro sports team is different then any other type of business, they are a whole separate thing. They pay taxes differently then everyone else and are generally not subject to local or federal law. Example is up until recently NBA players could have pot in their drug test and it was no problem, the opposite is steroids where the gov't stepped in. In short it was in the NFL's best interest to let Vicks banishment run concurrent with his jail sentence. Banning him for life presents as many or more problems then letting him back in. Because he has the right to work if a team will sign him, the dogs although VERY inhuman is non affiliated with football. It's really a catch 22, damned if you do damned if you don't. More so then those reasons, it really comes down to money. Asses in seats, jerseys, tv ratings when he plays your fav team etc etc. btw players get zero from jersey sales per collective bargaining, the team owns those rights outright.

Nah. It's not worth it in our cars the amount of work it would have taken to do it just to cool off the rear brakes (which don't really need it since front brakes are mainly used).

It's that bad rep that makes them so intimidating. I couldn't have a dog anyway. I work too much and couldn't take care of it. I like Pit Bulls though! My neighbor has one and I alway toss him some cuts of meat when I'm BBQin.

Might be trading my 96 ranger for a 85 f250 4x4 351w 4speed truck tomorrow. Still wondering if I should or not, I do need a bigger truck to haul more, but I also need somethin easier on gas than my wrangler for work. Decisions decisions......

Will hauling more make enough money to offset the extra gas?

Eh probably not as it would be personal use hauling but having more power and room will save me some time do I wouldn't need to make multiple trips as the truck wouldn't be used everyday maybe a few times a week if that.

I ALMOST drove my stang to work today, glad I changed my mind cuz it started to rain around noon and by the time I got off the wind was picking up. One thing I hate is getting caught in the rain with my car. Knock on wood its only happened once and that was when I first got it and was driving it home.

Yeah, I decided to ditch the 3.73's and go with 4.10....I'm sure I'll really hate the rain....

Nice, I was considering 4.10s since mines an auto but I'm going to be swapping to a 5 speed so I think I'm gonna go 3.73s instead.

Just looked at an 85 f250 4x4 4spd. Was rougher than he said it was. Cab corners are pretty much done for, rockers aren't far behind, found a spot on the frame with about a dime sized rust hole through it, clutch grabbed soon as u let it off the floor. I thought maybe it just needed adjusted(thought it was the old school clutch setup) but it turned out to be a hydraulic clutch! It def ran really good, broke loose in 2nd gear at about 10 mph just given it more gas. Idk, I mean I liked the truck but it def has a lot of cons that make me uneasy about trading my ranger for. I know my 96 has some stuff that needs fixed but it's not all ate up with rust like that truck was..... Decisions.....

This thread 4.10 Gear Speed/RPM Video changed my mind on 3.73 and to go 4.10

Also do you ever go out to Kil-Kare raceway?

Nope, if I go, I normally hit up national trail raceway. Hmm, need to do a comparison video with a foxbody with 4.10s and a t-5 cruising the same speeds. Idk 4.10s will def be fun but I just don't know heg
