True. I've never tried to get in one. I'd probably fit though. 5'9 1/2

What did you do today?
I've got a 12 and a half, to a 13. And if I'm braking in my MG, my foot is touching the clutch and accelerator pedals. You can say I can heel the clutch, mid foot the brake and toe the throttle. And to add the fact the English used large steering wheels back then. Which with the convertible top down my head is over the windshield frame and the car downs have a role bar. So I guess my head is the role bar...
I guess the English were short and skinny and had tiny feet back in the 70s...

You are 90% correct in that
When you say:

But back in the 60's / 70's I think everybody was skinnier and a tad shorter.
I Know I was.
Ronnie
PS: I once had an MG with the steering wheel on the wrong side. It was a fun car and I sold it for four times the $$$$ I paid for it.

I had 1974 Harvest Gold MG that I bought for $2,700. Was a great project t and driver quality car until the rust caught up with the body. Car is slow as molasses but it was convertible and really fun to drive. Sold it to my wife's uncle so he could use it for parts to rebuild his MG. With kids it was tough to find time to work on it as I tore the engine apart to replace the head gasket but never got back to putting the gasket in. I miss that car.

I meant a large person (6'1+) that's properly proportion, around 180-200+, would have difficulty driving the car...
Which I'm 6'3, but I'm no where near 180, and the steering wheel is a little bit of a issue, but the pedals are the worse. They're so close together. Which I've almost got the car sold, I don't drive it and there's another car I want to buy...

I tried fixing up a old alpine tiger? Was it called a tiger if it only had the 4 in it? Anyways I couldn't fit in it without the top down and I'm 6'2" 190. To bad the lady wasn't really into fixing it up. Spent all the time diagnosing it and then she never bought the parts. Kinda a shame too it was perfect other wise

Alpine and Tiger are two different models, of the automaker Sunbeam. Tiger had the ford 260 and 289. Alpine had the 4s ranging from 1.5 to 2.3L. And like I said small British sports cars aren't big people friendly...
Which sunbeam is apart of rootes group

It's all good, it isn't made here so people aren't required to know who makes it...
That statement is based by me, I think people should know their countries auto makers...
But some people don't care about cars so, it's for people who like cars...

Maybe, over in a near by town. I got a place to store it before I start the restoration, and finish my challenger. It's a 64 GTO 389 4 barrel (going to convert it to 3 deuces) factory 4 speed. And I'll put a passenger door mirror and dual reservoir master cylinder on it.

What did you do today?
It's rusty but no rot. It's at a shop that we do business with. So, if he accepts my offer we'll put on a rack so I can see under it better. The owner came down on his price (9,500 3 years ago, I wanted it back then too) to 5 grand. I gave him an offer and we will see. Has one small hole in the hood about the size of your finger nail. Thinking maybe converting it to a Hurst GTO. Which I got to buy it first before I start planning.
On another note I'm going to be picking up a 69 mach soon.
