Effing Tornados

So I live in Tennessee and this morning I took pictures of my car all pretty and today it got wailed on by hail bigger than golfballs
I was at my dads house so she wasn't in her garage
Dents all over the roof from the little bit I could see in the rain and hail
I have full coverage but still.... MY BABY!!!!
What do I do?

Re: Effing Tornados

Find out if your insurance covers hail damage. This probably depends largely on if you told them it was garage kept. If you did, you are probably f'd.

What part of TN? It got bad here too.

Your insurance likely covers the hail damage

Re: Effing Tornados

The thread title should be hail, not tornadoes.

Re: Effing Tornados

Why wouldn't car insurance cover hail? Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard...

It's a comprehensive claim, so call your insurance, tell them you were hailed on (they'll know areas of hail because they'll have lots of claims), and youll go get an estimate, and they might just cut you a check right there. Go find a good body shop and most will be pulled with PDR. It's pretty uncomplicated.

Ok here is the carnage report tons of dents all over my roof, quarter panels and pretty much everything else and it busted the plastic cover over the windshield wipers. sad day but $#|+ happens. I have comprehensive insurance it's gunna be a 200$ deductible and all will be fixed hopefully including the only door ding that was on it before the hail
but here is the aftermath

So I'm on my way to Orlando now these tornadoes tore up all kinds of places I've seen stores turned inside out Laying next to the highway and trees uprooted and flung through billboards it's pretty insane and from what I've heard over 200 ppl confirmed dead as a result

Damn! I would hope insurance would cover that. I heard it got bad so at least you're safe now!

What are you doing in Orlando?

We had like 4 touch down around St. Louis. 2 of which were within 5 miles of my house. Then a town about an hour away got hit with 4.5 in diameter hail.

Re: Effing Tornados

Wow that sucks for sure hopefully your insurance does you good then. I think all insurance will cover it as long as you dont have collector insurance that requires it to be garaged unless in use.
