I've lived in the South all my life and I don't care too much for Fox or the other news networks a lot of the time. I say push politics aside for the time being and enjoy this night.

I agree that politics should be pushed to the side for now but nobody will allow that....my facebook is blowing up with political arguments and most of them are centered on hate for our government

Re: Bin laden dead!

all I'm saying is that guy hasn't made a decision as far as terrorism goes in years more than likely. Its a good morale boost but its not gonna change anything. I'll celebrate when everyone's back home with their families.

I doubt we are, or ever really have been "safe.". As for bin Laden, I am glad he is no longer a threat however I wish he could have been captured forced to answer for his crimes...

Not sure if it was possible...but if he was captured and interrogated I would have felt more safe. Don't get me wrong...he deserved to die. I just wish someone could have gotten in his head first.

Re: Bin laden dead!

He's got nothing of value for current and future terrorist cell operations. I'm sure he knows what still goes on but he hasn't been a threat to us in a long time. He doesn't make decisions on hardly anything anymore. He could answer questions about past things but its not gonna help with the future. I'm just a little jealous I wasn't with the team that raided the place

Good...that's my major concern. If he didn't have anything of value than it is better he is dead.

Keep doing great things man!

I wish they could have brought osama back to the states and let the soldiers and the families who have lost loved ones because of him deal with him oh well he's dead I just wish I could have shot him. Made his life hell for what he's done to so many people.

Re: Bin laden dead!

Well he's still pissing everyone off. Best thing to do is forget about him and write it up in the history books. If he's dead and still making everyone feel unsafe then dead or alive he still accomplished his goal

I agree!!! I mean he was nothing more than an icon at this point....killing him did nothing but make Americans happy and piss terrorists off..........not saying he didn't have to answer for what he did, they all do, but I mean really...........it didn't win this conflict or anything.................but I'm glad you are getting to come home!!! My mom's brother is spec ops and he refuses to come home!!! he has been over there since the war began and has been home but a handful of days.....
