So, I was having a great morning, woke up on time, had a good breakfast, and our school schedule let's us sleep in an extra 20 minutes today, but then... I go out to my car to find my passenger window broken, my aftermarket headunit ripped out and my brand new alpine mrp-m500 amp ripped off my back seat. It's not just having to replace it that I'm pissed about, it's that someone went out of their way to steal out of my car. That's all, I'll just sit here pissed off in my 1st hour for a bit now. Oh, and I'll get pics up later of how I found it if anyone cares.

detachable face is the only way to go... that way if at least still have a radio if the thieves got u rolln natural (factory speakers)

And yes, I have a detachable faceplate, and as far as I remember, I took it off last night.

When I was tired of people stealing my boxes from my car.. and my headunits... i ended up putting fish hooks in the handles of my sub box, and behind the dash pieces when they'd reach in... we actually caught one guy bc my brother was comin home from work one night and said the dude was sitting there screaming trying to wake us up. the cops got there and were laughing at first... then warned me that I shouldnt take matters into my own hands... but I was tired of payin money for **** to later have it stolen... havent bought any aftermarket subs in yeaaaaaars

I feel for you. Remember everyone always wants what you work hard for so when you replace your stuff enjoy it by yourself and hide everything the best you can. In my 91 I actually mounted the two amps to the back of the rear seats and then made a flap of cloth that matched the seats. When you looked through the hatch it looked just like the back of the seats.
I think your on to something by suspecting other students at your school, especially if your car was the only one on the block hit.
