So I attempted something new today...

and am pretty proud at the results. I woke up this morning and decided I wanted some home made biscuits. So, I Googled for a bit, found a recipe I liked, and went to work. I am happy to say they tasted pretty freaking awesome. They looked a little funny, and they were a little small, but son of a Greedo, they tasted great. Now what should I attempt to cook next...

I have a good recipe for them

Okay Nate, here is the serious recipe:
You will need; 1/4 ounce high grade soft seedless buds (others will work, but this 'baking marijuana' tastes and cooks best), manicured with all woody stems removed and broken into small, joint like pieces
2-4 table spoons butter/margarine
1 Box brownie mix and all ingredients listed on back of box.

Melt butter (you may also want to add a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon)in frying pan on burner at about 50% heat. Then add buds, and stir until the buds are well coated in butter, then let them simmer for an additional few minutes at low heat (25%)
Prepare Brownie mix, and stir in mary jane.
Then bake according to directions on box. One brownie will cause a dreamy, body euphoric high, while 3-4 will cause hallucinations and possible paranoia.

Re: So I attempted something new today...

i attempted to make it to work on time or early today. i failed horribly and ended up a half hour late as opposed to my usual 20 minutes late. good thing the only person with enough power to do something about it doesnt show until 10am anyways.

two bottles of water and two tylenol will help with that. just dont pass out until you force yourself to chug h2o. i used to get hangovers all the time but since i did the above, ive been hangover free for a year or two.

Re: So I attempted something new today...

The best cure for a hangover is to immediately start in on the beers when you wake up.

nope its true. i guess happens is your body is having alcohol withdrawals, your body becomes dependent on it throughout the night as it becomes dehydrated while you sleep it off, and the lack thereof gives you a hangover. some people its just a headache and nausea, others its vomiting or cramping (like me). what it does is help add a bit of alcohol to the system to feed the body's craving for it, while at the same time you get a fat buzz like you just drank a few beers at once, yet youve only had a few sips. the trick is to follow up immediately with water and nutrients (gatorade or fitness waters work excellent in this scenario) to bring the body out of its alcohol dependency and into balance. failing to follow up after the beer and just thinking because you instantly feel better youre done is a false sense of security, once the alcohol from the beer wears off and you do not have any other liquids, youre hangover returns. ive done this once, and failed because i didnt follow up correctly, got to work feeling great (dont worry, parent drove me) and last about 10 minutes before seeing food (when i was a waiter) and it all came back. my grandma swears by the above method of hangover relief. id rather just stop the problem from occuring completely with water and tylenol before bed, so once the alcohol wears off the body has water all throughout the night, plus the asprin thins your blood making it easier to filter out the alcohol.

Re: So I attempted something new today...

hangovers are mainly dehydration brought on by the alcohol, as it's a diuretic (makes you pee)... also, "cheap" alcohol that isn't pure makes them worse, as it puts more crap into your body, making your blood even less pure. That's why drinking water helps... less dehydration, less hangover.
