To continue, or not to continue.

So, I had this brilliant idea to take 2 summer courses and finish up my AS degree in the fall doing some crazy combination of courses. I just finished up a brutal spring semester and I can't seem to get motivated for summer. I'm just flat out tired of school and it's summer. Anyone have any thoughts?

Take the summer off. All you are going to do after school is work full time anyway.

Agreed. Life is short, get out & enjoy it. You have plenty of time to spend working your life away. Hit the street with your Stang & soak up that warm weather.

Put your head down, and keep the momentum going. Don't take a summer off - Just get the degree done. Next summer you'll be a year older, a year wiser, and a year richer.

think about it like a job, you dont get summers off... if you are not working while going to school you should have no problem doing it, if you are then I can understand as you are probably busy every day all day for the most part and that gets old quick.

+1000000! Get motivated to get it done! Delay school and you delay the benefits it brings!

Thank you all for responding, I greatly appreciate your thoughts. After much thought and discussion, I decided to take the summer off. It was part motivation and the fact of an absurd course load in the fall. I would've had to take 2 accounting courses, statistics micro and macro economics and a geology lab, in one semester. I can now spread everything out and make money working 3 jobs over the summer.

Go ahead and finish your degree that benefit will be a greater asset then taking the summer off. I finished mine and working on my
MBA in business management.

It would be better to just to finish it

If you decide to travel, head on up to the Pacific NW & I'll surely buy you a beer pending you are of legal age of course.
