iPhone, the almost indestructable super phone
A friend of my roommate's is hanging out when he casually tells me he will never own anything but an iPhone. I tell him I want to be rid of mine ASAP when he whips his out and shows me how his has survived.
Apparently he was up riding an off-road scooter on a mountain just outside of town. He got back hone and could not find his phone for the life of him so he headed back to the mountain the next day. Apparently it rained and snowed that night. Not only did the phone fall into the road but it was in a puddle, but it was also run over multiple times by 4x4 trucks!
Upon returning to retrieve his phone the guy finds it in a puddle in the middle of the road, fishes the phone out, takes it home and throws it on his tv for 2 whole days. After that time apparently he found it to be sufficient enough to charge the phone & hit the power. Low and behold the phone powered right up. Camera works as does the onboard gps and everything else works good as new he says.
So this phone goes through surviving outdoors in a puddle overnight. Exposed to rain & snow while being run over by a few trucks and STILL powers right up after 2 days and a charge. That is simply astonishing.
When you're going to war, you better have three things if you expect to win: 1. Willpower (One's need to put the petal to the metal); 2. Staying Power (300+ BHP); and 3. Firepower (The wheels of your mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45).
