PETA actually wants an animal dead?

Quote:
Huntsville appealed to the Alabama Supreme Court, which affirmed (City of Huntsville v. Sheila Tack et al., 1010459, S.C. Alabama; Aug 30, 2002) the Circuit Court opinion by a 6-2 vote; the written dissent addressed procedural matters of legal status of the parties, not the nature of the dogs. The puppies were adopted. Animal Rights group PETA sent the Judge a letter calling for the execution of all the pups. Ingrid Newkirk, president of PETA, officially advocates the euthanasia of all pitbull dogs, and the illegalization of their breeding.[59]
Pit Bull - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To show even more how ****ed up this organization is..... But yet they are worried about how a cow is treated before it is slaughtered for food.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

Yeah, PETA kills a ton of animals every year...there was a big write up about them euthanizing (sp?) like 15k dogs last year or something like that. Their claims was because they were too expensive to keep alive.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

Me either. In my wikipedia research on pit bulls, I found it. I also saw that the entire terrier breed, jack russells and so on, all have the same likelyhood of being "aggressive." But when they get too aggressive is because the owners do not give the dogs a goal or something to focus their energy on. When you get any sort of large animal, you have to know what you are getting and be responisble with it. Do your research. If everyone did that, I don't think we'd even have this problem in the media.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

I say everywhere just does what Florida does, you have to have a license that requires a background check before you can own a pit. They are great animals, but you have to know how to own them. :yup:

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

This is my brother's pit trying to eat my face off for some demonic cultist spell or something.

On second thought, she might have been trying to rip my face off and wear it like Hannibal Lecter. Then I strongly believe that she was going to apply for multiple credit cards, max them all out, and never pay them, ruining my credit.

That dog looks vicious, you should euthanize it immediately.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

my friend has a pitbull... great dog.

its all about how they are raised... the only difference is that some breeds are more susceptible to be tainted by a bad upbringing than others (i assume). i would imagine it would be hard as **** to make a lab viscious.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

bring up a lab the same way a pitbull raised to fight is, and i bet it will be just as mean.

I heard a legend one time that the apocalypse will be brought about by a pit bull uprising...after they destroy the remaining humans and the Terminators.

Re: PETA actually wants an animal dead?

This is funny to me since I want to kill PETA. Euthanasia is for those who suffer (for the most part, I believe), not a bunch of people that have nothing better to do.
