Re: Hogans kid in a car accident

Twas posted a bit ago on WF, and my thoughts on this were... meh, I don't give a ****. I don't give a damn about what a single celebrity, wanna be celebrity, whatever, is doing. We have people fighting for our country, and what do we hear from them? The media is a bunch of bull****

I'm so dam tired of the public associating RACING with DRIFTING. Drifting is nothing but a car version of figure skating.

Re: Hogans kid in a car accident

Drifting was something invented by the Japs to make their sucky driving skills seem like "sport" or whatever you would like to call it.

Drifting=Retardation=For People Who Cannot Drive

Re: Hogans kid in a car accident

i love how all the first reports stated there was nobody else around him, and the supra was alone. as soon as the story hit mass media, theres no a silver viper involved, cited from an "anonymous" report. yet more made-up bull**** from the media to get the ratings.

i hope Nick does what i would do in his situation. that would be going out, buying another supra, making it faster and flip off everyone and say "**** you, i do what i want! dont hate me cause i have and can do what you cant!" or at least sell his mods from the current totaled one, buy another, mod it better and this time with a really good cage / racing harnesses, and go "haha *****es next time i crash, ill be at the dealership even quicker to buy another car!"

drifting was actually created because their cars in the 70's sucked hardcore, they had massive understeer, so to go around that hindrance, they induced a oversteer situation and from there it grew.

as for drifting being for people who cannot drive, i totally beg to differ. Drifting IMO ranks up there with Rally Racing in terms of skills to pay the bills. the amount of precision and control drivers must illustrate while making it look easy is beyond me and everyone on this forum. however it is a judged competition, which puts it pretty much in the same category as Figure Skating, which last time i checked, was still gay.

Re: Hogans kid in a car accident

If you wanna talk about oversteering and understeering then come to NY in February when no type of steering works against a fresh blanket of snow. Doing five miles an hour in a front wheel car can put you into a nice little skid only being able to stop when your momentum stops.

Re: Hogans kid in a car accident

Why does it always seem that people who cant do something always have to shoot down people who can?

ummm ok, so being able to drift controllably is similar to being out of control on snow how?
