Airbrushing?

ok so i would like to get into airbrushing, but the only problem is i have never airbrished before and i have no clue what i need in order to do it. i was wondering what type of machines are good brands? and where i could find a decent priced one? i would love to eventually if i get good at it do something to the hood of my stang but that wouldnt be unless i got good at it. so basically just wondering what i should look for and where? like is there some machines better for begginers or what? thanks

Re: Airbrushing?

I did some hobby airbrushing a long time ago. Best bet is go to a hobby shop that sells model making gear. Get an airbrush and paints. Get a compressor that will work with your airbrush. Look up stuff on the inerwebz. Start airbrushing. You will learn by doing. Look at the different techniques out there and see where your talents lie.

Re: Airbrushing?

i think many use covers/templates and do it section by section to get the end result.
