Going to FL! Wooooohooooooo!

Vacation starts Friday...driving down to Florida to visit my brother and hopefully meet up with some good friends that just got back from deployment. I am stoked! Wish I could take the stang but with the dogs, wife, and luggage it's a little tight. Can't wait...I'd leave now if I wasn't bound to finish some last minute projects.

My bro is in Lady Lake, then to Orlando, probably going to St. Augustine. I lived in Miami...don't really miss it but may just visit some old friends...just gonna be nomads for a couple weeks. Gotta get away from D.C. for a while. I'm more of a "field" soldier...and this place is way too political. Can you recommend anything neat to do in St. Aug? Would love to find a nice dog beach for a couple days...

I can recommend lots to do here. Depends on what you guys wanna do... Place has tons of historic places to visit like the Castillo San Marcos which is this huge Spanish fort on the bayfront and we have the Matanzas fort which you get to by boat. The haunted lighthouse is awesome. St. George street is a road just for pedestrians with tons of shops, restaurants, bars. Carriage rides, boat tours, pirate boat tours, ghost tours. If you want a dog beach, I recommend Matanzas, Vilano, or Crescent Beach. St. Aug beach can be super crowded and they are more strict on leash laws and stuff. I always let my dog run free at Matanzas.

Bars... Scarlett O'hara's, Panama Hatties, Stogies, Dunes Cracker.

My wife and I have some great friends who live there, and we try to visit them a few times a year (about 4 1/2 hour drive). You live in a really cool town, for Atlantic Coast Fl. I prefer the gulf, but it is awesome in St Augustine and Jacksonville is alright, too.

Awesome! Im glad you like it here. I love living here. Lots to do and just a nice spot. I think St. Aug is much more pleasant than Jax or Daytona.

Yeah I actually proposed to my wife on Daytona Beach, right next to a dirty diaper and about 50 cigarette butts. Lol

Unfortunately, you ARE CORRECT.. Given the previous fact of NH > FL, we can combine those and get another true statement

NH > FL > NH + MA

Thus, 0>FL>MA

That cold weather is why yankee chicks are fat. Lol. Too cold to work out or wear skimpy clothes so they sit in their houses and watch tv.

But with snow you don't wear through tires as fast.

And we got a lot of fine ladies up here. Beach brings them all out
