Did a group pic day on Sunday **56K warning**

One of our friends was moving and dragged some of the guys into helping so we didn't have the best turnout possible, but 6 is better than nothing

- My 83 GT - made on pass at the track since the 5-bolt/8.8 swap, but water pump seized and dragged everything down, so I don't know my 1/4 mile time. Ah well.
- 86 LX - 347ci, ran a 12.1@112.40mph on slicks this summer
- 88 GT (black) - 306ci, carb conversion, 13.2@105mph but made 402rwhp...has some bugs but will be faster once he works things out
- 88 GT (blue) - completely redone last winter, new DSS 331 shortblock, 13.171@104.94 with a stock tranny that's ready to go... car has 12s in it.
- 02(?) Trans Am (99% stock I'm pretty sure. Don't have much info on it)
- 03 Cobra - 16lbs of boost, Steigmere stage IV ported Eaton, too much crap to list, 450 RWHP/462 RWTQ, 12.21@117mph on DRs.... the Steig's still not enough for him though, he's going whipple this winter.

**ETs run at 2200ft elevation

Ya, Matt's 88 is insane. He went with BMW LeMans Blue and god does it look good.
You wouldn't even recognize the car from last year after all of the work he did over the winter.

Kraft's using H&R Super Sport springs with Bilstein struts and shocks.
The wheels are 17x9 up front on 275-wide Nitto 555s and 17x10.5 in the rear with 315-wide Nitto 555s DRs.

Re: Did a group pic day on Sunday **56K warning**

Nice looking cars.

That drop is ok, but IMO on 17's its a little too low. My idea of a perfect drop is when the tire sits evenly spaced from the fender all the way around the fenderwell.(Its personal preferance I guess) Still I think its a very nice looking car its just dropped a little more than I prefer, and I've seen plenty of pictures of Cobras wearing 18's that have H&R SS springs and they look damn good. That car looks like its very well keep.

I'm waiting to get the tires for my 18's to determine what my final R/H will be.
My current numbers from the tops of my fenders to the ground are 26" front and 26 3/4" rear.

yea, I agree with everything you said there...from what I have seen, and its something that I really dont like about the 03/04 cobra (or any 99-04 car for that matter) front bumper (and rear bumber too), the front bumper as it wraps around and approaches the front tire, it appears to stop short, so that the spacing at the bottom of the front bumber to the tire is bigger than the spacing at the bottom from the rocker panel to the rear of the front tire...and IMO, it gives the illusion that the front axle is shifted back a half inch or so...if that makes any sense lol...here is a picture of what i mean...i did it real quick in paint so it looks crappy but you get the idea...(sorry for using your pictures to draw on jroc)
