What should I buy....

I worked overtime last week and thanks to that I made an extra 2100 bucks. What should I spend it on?

I thought about the car:
Wheels/tires
CC plates and lowering springs
MM full length sub frames (will buy with this)
Pulley Tune?

Or other:
build a computer
buy a laptop
etc

thoughts?

I have to pay taxes on this as well so it wont be 2100 when I get it...

Re: What should I buy....

If I did wheels it would probably be 10.5 inch 03 cobra wheels and larger tires for the back.. but those true forged mach 5s or a set of FR500s do look nice on a lowered car

Re: What should I buy....

Im thinking;

MM CC plates: 200
MM FLSFC: 150
SS Lines: 80
H&R Springs: 260
New Rotors: 200
New Calipers: 220

Total: 1110.00

That leaves me with about 400 bucks~ (maybe 500 depending on taxes)

Re: What should I buy....

To be honest brandon, I think I'd buy an upgraded input shaft, cooling mod, and bushings for the irs before anything. I'd also throw in the full length subframes. The others can come later, but supporting mods are never a bad thing...

After going through this last week's dilemma with IRS, upgrades are never a bad idea for it...

build a PC with me I'm only spending about 1500 for the tower, with your amount you could have a nice up to date machine with a nice LCD screen.

Hmmm Mustang or computer stuff, thats an easy choice....definitely Mustang stuff. I agree with Brad though, do supporting mods to make your current set up more reliable/efficient.

Like I say, after dropping an IRS this weekend and completely pulling it apart bushings are definitely a good upgrade. If you need some help I'm more than willing to come help ya man, I've gotten fairly decent at ripping one apart.

Cash it in for all pennies, and throw them at people if you want something to do with those pennies.

Re: What should I buy....

Someone in NJ is selling 18" Black FR500's with tires for 850. Still look brand new.

I think they would look pretty good, but the stock rims on these cars are nice, I kinda want to put my Saleens on the cobra just to see how I would like that setup.

I want to drop the whole irs and do it all to it and put it back in~ wont be soon that I can get to it thought.. I would also love to drop the tranny and do all that but thats expensive and I would have to let a shop do it and I would much rather not let them do that kind of thing.

Re: What should I buy....

I'll tell you this, it's much easier using a lift and a forklift...

And my swap's not quite done. In need of two halfshafts. At this moment in time any halfshafts will do. Need them like last weekend...

Ford wants around 300 a piece for them and I'm not about to fork that out.

But yeh, I'm gonna go ahead and do bushings while my irs is in total pieces, if I remember tonight I'll throw a pic or two up of my current progress.

Well think about it this way:

Will you still enjoy the mods to your car 5 or more years from now?

Will you still enjoy the mods to your comp 5 or more years from now?

lol

true, what if someone totals your car tho? bum bum bummm I'd say a car has a higher chance of being totaled out than a PC consider it doesn't drive around risking hitting anything
