I agree. Trail riding was always my fav. Just getting out and away from everything giving horses baths are funny. They are such funny and awesome animals. My mom is terrified.

Ha! They used to make my mom pretty nervous too and my dad...he still doesn't understand my obsession with the big, scary, smelly, creatures at all. But he was always cheering the loudest at my competitions. He's a wonderful horsey-Dad.
Trail riding is where it's at though. Some day I would like to take a couple months and ride/camp the pacific crest trail. Totally epic!

My Aunt has her own stable in Arkansas. I think she's only been hurt-like a minor shoulder, or back injury once or twice and she's been riding for years. Horses are weird creatures. I've been fortuante enough to ride them a few times. I wouldn't worry too much.

As for me I enjoy spending time with my Mustang, writing, going to car shows, and anything associated with cars. I also enjoy running, and playing with my dog.

Re: Things we enjoy!! Post it up!

I enjoy spending time with my family when home. Me and the wife going to all the wineries in TX. Also love spending time with my big baby bulldog. I fight with him like he is a person. The harder I play and hit him the more he likes it.
He is an Old English Bulldog. Weighs right at 75lbs.

Most people don't know the difference between an Old English and an English. Mine is bigger. More rare.

Those are great dogs. I don't see many old English bull dogs.

My dad was a total daredevil and didn't care but my mom had a bad experience at a stall when she was younger. She walked past a stall and this horse bit her shoulder and picked her up! Lo

Re: Things we enjoy!! Post it up!

I grew up on a farm and we had a couple horses, and my ex wife had a couple. I am an animal person and horses seem to like me, but I have no desire to ride.. I guess I am not as fearless as I was when I was young. I just feel a little out of control on the back of a spirited horse, and a docile horse can be boring to ride...

I like to wash/pamper my car. I like to work on and mod our cars. I like to go to and sometimes enter car shows and take a lot of pictures... I like hanging out with my Fort Riley Mustang Club friends.. I like tractor and antique cars too... I like road trips... I like Mexico, I have been there 8 times but not in about 5 years or so... I like most of the car shows and some races on my dish... I like eating out... I like hanging out online with car people... I like our cozy home, and our two cat's and just sitting around enjoying the wife's company...

Although work sucks right now, I like my life...

Re: Things we enjoy!! Post it up!

Love my motorcycles.... can't get enough riding in, and the season is about to end

Almost finished building my 72 cb750 cafe racer. Also picked up a 73 cb450 for free... so that will sit in the basement all winter while I go through the carbs and get it running. Then I need to clean it up.

Here's my toys:

03 600RR

72 cb750 cafe (still needs paint and other things)

The next project... 72 cb450

I should probably throw my car in there too... she's been a good DD the last 4 years.

Besides those things, also love to ski. Just planned my first trip of the season out to Steamboat. Can't wait.

You can keep the crotch rocket, but I like the cafe and the cb450.. My brother had Honda's and we rode the s**t out of them in the 70's...

Ya they are hard to find. Pretty expensive but well worth it. He is a big baby till you mess with my wife. Which is what I want.

I love the Oldies! They're a good size, won't eat you out of house and home and they generally have great temperaments. I do especially admire their willingness to protect home and family and the fact that they are athletic enough to actually do it. ::high five::
