A sad day in deed I am watching apples stock right now to see how his death is effecting the market. For the last year he hasn't had a lot of involvement with the company he founded got fires from and then saved again taking apple stocks from minimal value to over 130 dollars a share. His other most notable founding was Pixar which he sold to Disney when returning to apple for hundreds of millions. He will forever be an icon to live up to in the technology world.[COLOR="Silver"]

My apple devices include

iPhone 4
Itouch
iPad
MacBook pro
MacBook air

Re: RIP Steve Jobs

it really is amazing that the stock is going up based on the fact that Steve jobs was the chairman of the board for apple, you think the loss of the lead chairman would cause the doubt within the company.

My understanding was his role was not real active, more symbolic. The role he left to be chairman was the active one. Which it's been a month or so since he stepped down from CEO right?

Re: RIP Steve Jobs

he stepped down about 6 months ago, it is close enough I have a hunch that the doctors told him he had six months to live and he stepped down, but yeah you are right he was more of an icon and the last active thing he was involved with was giving apple's key note a couple months ago.

Re: RIP Steve Jobs

yeah I am sure he had a plan to have his legacy live on, a lot of these ideas are things he thought of years ago so if they even have the thoughts of what he wanted to do today you will see his technologies at least 5 years in the future.

Re: RIP Steve Jobs

IT sucks but its life,.

WHat bothers me is all the stupid people like OMG he died i feel so bad. No one was sending him get well cards and crap when he was dying of cancer. Now every one acts like he was there best friend. get over it people die every day.

Oh and I have a Imac/IPad1/Ipad2/Iphone4 2 actually mine and my sons. Also had an Iphone3.

Yes I can cruel. It just biugs me the way people do stupid stuff like this. Almost as much as it bigs me the stupid people at Soldiers funerals with their stupid *** signs and start8ing carp for a man/women who gave their life so they could be free. Like said no body cared when he was dying of cancer. That news had been out for least 6 months. Now people act like they give a crap.
