No, each move was for a different employer.

and its like the entire intraweb thinks everyone can just up and move . I dont know how the hell someone would attempt to move to another state, i mean, first youd have to send resume's, get interviews, fly out under pretense that theres a high likely hood you are just wasting your time, then while youre interviewing you have to look for an apartment or such, get applications going for that, fly back home, wait for someone to call you and hire you back, possibly do a second interview, etc. then moving all your ****? holy crap. i think the farthest logically i could move right now would be Vegas unless i moved to NY and hung out with gramps and the rest of my fathers side till i got all settled down.

I feel the same way you do... Sure I have a what I think is a kick *** job right now and would like to move to a bigger city, but if I did, I'd be ****ed unless it was near an airbase that was mostly under civilian contract... I'm stuck here in Mississippi and I know we'll catch hell for it from time to time, but in all honesty, I'm happy where I am and enjoy the friends we have, so I don't see us moving anytime soon.

I just give you guys hell to give you hell, it's all meant in fun... If EVER taken otherwise, please do not hesitate to tell me I'm crossing the line.

I know a lot of civilians that work at Robins AFB.....actually, you don't want to move to Macon.

And working for a huge corporation is awesome in my opinion - it looks better on a resume than working for some Joe-Shmo local company, I think anyway. If you want to stand out and grow and advance, there are usually a lot of vertical and horizontal moves with out having to move to a new employer. If you just want a job to put food on the table and blend in with crowd, you can do that as well. And, unless you suffer ffrom tightus sphincterus, the corporate BS you have to do sometimes (diversity training, etc) is pretty humorous.
