Re: wats plastic dip???

its a spray on coating for tools. You can spray almost anything w/ it and if you make a mistake or dont like it , you can peel it off. Cost about $6 a can at Home Depot. I sprayed it on my rims and peeled off the overspray .

I once sprayed my hand with plasti-dip. It was my pimp hand, it made it strong.

Re: wats plastic dip???

Plasti-Dip is awesome, I painted my wheels over 2 months ago and looks like I just did yesterday. Prep is simple wash the wheels with soap and water, dry, spray 3 coats of plasti-dip and enjoy! $6.00 a can from Lowes I bought 2 cans and still had around 1/2 can left when it was done.

Looks professional and is durable, yet can be peeled right off.

Neither lol i just sprayed right over the rim and wheel. I then let it dry for about 10 min and then you can peel off the extra from the tire

You could just use a deck of cards. I read that on an earlier thread about Plasti-Dip. What's the deal lately? Plasti-Dip has become a Rockstar on this Forum, everyone's talking about it! Lol it looks good though.

I've just learned about it. Been wanting to paint my rims black for a while now, and getting them powdercoated would be expensive.. Sounds like plasti-dip is the cheap effective way to go lol
