So 2 weeks back, I got offered a job, I went on an interview and the whole 9 yards. (I was like if he immediately offers me a job, I am going to wait to accept it.)

The interview:
Interviewer: hi my name my name is so & so
Me: hi so and so very nice to meet you!
Interviewer: typical questions bs etc, etc, etc, etc
Interviewer: Now you just sound like the perfect person for my co. Now when are you able to start
Me: monday
I: ok.. Now you applied at XYZ location do you live close?
Me: Yes about 5 miles away
I: ok that is close by, now what type of pay are you looking for
Me: X to X per hour
I: ok how about we split the diff?
Me: thinking aloud ook hesitantly, I was trying to say let me think about it..

I: Ok great!!!!! And by the way you'll be at XYW location. Guy starts rambling on, and on

Me: ( can't say wait stop!) ok I was like the guy on office space who got demoted to the basement I couldn't say anything fast enough

I: Welcome aboard

Fast forward 2 weeks:

Today:
Manager: Well so and so has more questions for you. The way we hire is based on performance we hire 7 people to fill 1 position and you all compete.

Me: I was annoyed!

(Ok it may be BS but you don't say if it is, you say we have blah blah policy that says we have X days to keep you)

I continued to the end of the day, and sent the hiring manger an e-mail saying I don't subscribe to this practice and I think it's best I look elsewhere.

But it's a great concept! I use this same method when dating. [COLOR="Silver"]

Yep! To be honest, I got a lot more respect at Sports Authority from day 1. I'll find something.

Haha! I prefer telling people that they are temps to begin with for 30-90 days, and we will decide if we want you after that.

I hope they weren't expensive sunglasses lol

Once there were a bunch of friends in the bed of my truck when we were transporting wrestling mats from the middle school to our high school and one person didn't want to sit down so from a stop i turn the wheel and hit the gas to whip out the back end.

I did that one time except I was riding on top of this dudes car, with 3 others, one fell off in a tight turn and down we all went. Hit my head and it bounced me back up. I was fine except for a killer headache for a few days.
It was a bad idea I know, but it happens.

I did that except on the hood of my ex gf car in a parking lot when I was 16 just for laughs, well I was laughing until she hit the brakes and I flew off, still have the scars to prove the story lol. I got payback though same people in the car as the hood story, gf, gf's sister and sisters bf. I knew the was a smooth but sudden hump in the road on the way to sisters bf's house so.... I was the only one with a seatbelt on and I thought ha time for my lols now I hit the hump at around 45 or maybe more, the car went airborne and they all smacked the roof and then a harder smack back down into the seat. Payback is a biotch
