Yep I work 2 jobs looking for a 3rd job and attending class! It kills me, go out and flip burgers, or start mowing lawns! I started pet sitting in Y2K for cookies, it turned out to be decent extra income. I've killed more bugs and cleaned up more dog poo than anyone I know.

:End rant

Tell me about it! Especially when they call or make arrangements to go to lunch with you. Ugh

You can blame teachers for that.. Yeah people think just because they got that degree they're qualified for such and such job.

Yes it helps, but it's not a substitute.

I had this whole talk with my younger brother.

He got his bachelors degree, and says I want a personal banker position. I thought oh..k thinking you have never worked a day of retail in your life.

Being rational, I said, well XyZ bank is hiring bank tellers.

He says, just like that-> I DON'T WANT TO BE A TELLER!!

Me: I Know, BUT You need banking experience! And if you get in and do a good job you'll get promoted or move on!

Brother: It doesn't require a college degree to be a teller, so I'm way more qualified!

Me: There is a difference between the teller who doesn't have a degree than one who doesn't, the one who does eventually moves up, the one who doesn't remains the grumpy teller.

Brother: Well you have no clue, I can get the PB job.

Me: good luck

Today he's selling cars complaing about working till 7:30-8pm..

No sympathy here try 12pm to 12am with no break then coming home to have to do laundry.

It just pisses me off that people with No experience think they're more qualified than one with.

Yep back to normal, that felt great!

You are completely right when it comes to the banking industry ... You have to work your way up ... The CEOs don't start at CEO level ...

Well you see when i was putting my exhaust on a while back its was quite frustrating getting all the pipes to fit together and having it in the right place and i had to modify where the muffler mount is and i test fitted it all and forgot to tighten a bolt the one bolt the connects the muffler mount to my car. When i finished getting alright i was just to satisfied it slipped my mind that i didn't tighten the bolts up and the nut came off on it dropped to the ground. My whole exhaust dropped it was hanging on by the exhaust manifold making a hell of a noise but luckily i happened to have a nut in my pocket and was able to put it back on and get her home

That was HORRIBLE, at least it didn't fall off completely and hit another car. Sounds like you were able to salvage the system?

Haha it's any industry really. I spent 5 years selling running shoes. I told him if you want in that bad start P/T

But experience +education gets you to CEO. Some of the best CEO's started at the bottom

When you're trying to sleep because you have work and people are to disrespectful and decide its a good idea to stand beside my room and yell as loud as they possibly can.
