When I put more than half on a new mustang that I'm to the point I can't live without one btw and no bank will finance me because I'm a contractor and technically I'm "unemployed" even tho I'm scheduled already for another job!

I've been dealing with same thing for 30yrs. You have to get that credit score up there.

The shop is just that backed up, when I went in last week there were only a few cars parked outside that were damaged, today there were double. Just have a ****load of cars they are fixing at the moment, granted probably most are old people cars with minor **** like windshields and scratches.

Just have to tough it out til then I guess

Ya, It's better to wait on a quality shop, than have it hacked up by someone that can do it now.

Right now I live in Humble about 20 miles from downtown Houston. I really would like to get a 2011 5.0. I haven't looked really hard other than a couple of websites like car gurus and Craigslist. My credit union won't finance me due to time on a job. I could just save the money and pay cash but I would also like to start building my credit better since Im only 20. So it's kinda irritating at this point!

The fact that you are labeled an unstable sociopath if you refuse to have a social networking platform in your life (facebook, twitter, linkedin)...

Get a secured credit card and start building your credit. I'm a contractor too and always paid cash. Then I wanted to buy a house and no one would touch me. I made a small deposit thur a secured cc company and kept my balance below 20%. It'll take a couple yrs , but now I can get a loan anywhere I want, at the lowest rates possible.

Ya I have my credit card from my credit union now for about a year. I was thinking of getting a fun car & also have something a little bigger under my belt so in the future I could get a house without any problems but I have a few more options I'm looking into right now.

Lol Speaking of alone, my kitty screwed up my sleep last night because she started howling. Something tricked her into thinking that she was home alone, so she started meowing and meowing. I woke up, ran downstairs, thinking something was wrong, and then I saw her just looking at me with her tail waving playfully. I sat with her for a while. She purred as I pet her. I even held her for a few minutes. Then went back to sleep. Sheesh... It's almost like taking care of a baby....

Haha! Awww... The poor thing! I'm a sucker for animals in general. My aunt recently adopted two baby kittens, and I can't get enough of them
