Never had a t5 apart but I guess there's somethin inside called a drive gear that spins the plastic speedo gear. Don't know exactly why or how it chews it up but from what I've read it's pretty easy to fix.

Even with the trans in the car, just remove the tail shaft then find the drive gear and do some other stuff. More wok for me I guess lol

Getting the parts for the rear and finding out that I need sn95 struts now because the fox struts are too damn short.

when people dont read a whole message, go back to your post and read what i and 1 or two other people told you to do. Get in your car, put the key in the ignition and turn it from off to on (not start) 8 times in 10 seconds. If your locks cycle then you have it. If they dont then you dont have it. Try that before you start fussing at people for not answering you even though they have given you a way to find out.

That's the answer. If u have it, turn the key 8 times off and on. If the locks come up or down. Poof u do. If not. Poof, u don't.

I'm lowered 2.25" and have MM C/C plates. After I bought the new struts I realized I could've dropped the fox struts down. They were almost 2yrs old anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. And yes I'm using sn95 spindles and my fox rear end, going to add disc brakes after I get the parts so its staying drum for now.

Not saying your wrong....but doing this puts the car in program mode...it programs keyless remotes as well as KEYS if you have two or more...

That on an increasing frequency, we have to wade through trolls, total BS posts, and juvenile bickering (about how one persons opinion is right Ignoring common sense).

Didn't used to be like this on here. Maybe it was and I was ignorant. Idk.
