Appreciate it. Part of the reason my posts as of recent have been how they are. It's just my wife and her brother now so alot to deal with estate wise. This place becomes a stress relief at times.

I am going to hate when my mom goes, for many reasons. But, the main one being; I have four (greedy)little sisters....and I get to be the one to determine who gets what. Feel for ya man. Don't know if you are the religious type, but I'll say a prayer for you and your family.

I'm just dealing with a bro in law that is wanting to lay claim and split stuff up 5 days after her death. Trying to explain to him to at least wait until we get death certificate

Last night a police officer was responding to a domestic violence call, the town over. Upon being let into the Townhouse, he was shot in the neck by a lone shooter. Happened so quick nobody could do anything about it. Luckily, his two back up officers were able to pull him out before the shooter could hit him again. Ended up being a hostage situation, SWAT was called, and SWAT toasted the guy. The officer is expected to survive. But in all honesty, getting shot in the neck is probably one of the worse ways i can think of dying. Absolutely horrific.

And today, yet another school shooting in Colorado. God, We have become such a trigger happy country. Really Grinds my gears.

The justice system and mental health system are failures. It's not a gun problem. I've carried a gun with me everywhere I've gone for years now and it has yet to leap out and shoot someone.

As you said, the justice system, and mental health systems are crap in this country. Murderers are released on pleas of insanity, and serve out sentences in a mental health facility. Only to be "rehabilitated" and released back into the wild. It is in fact, partly a gun problem. Because it is so easy to get a gun in this country. Hell, even elementary school kids can get ahold of mommy and daddys gun because they couldn't wrack their brains and come to the conclusion it should be locked up in a house with children. I respect the right to bare arms. But honestly, some people cannot respect a firearm, therefore should be barred from owning one. I can see you are most likely a responsible adult. You carry a firearm, and you haven't shot anyone. You are not the problem in this country. There needs to be a system in place to keep firearms away from the underbelly of society. In their cases, their guns do leap out and shoot people. You would be amazed at how easy it is to get a burner around here.

I still don't believe it's a gun problem the kids getting guns is not the guns fault it's the parents fault and I do believe that it should be harder to get a gun there should be more than a back ground check there should be a mental test of some kind too I agree with you on that. But I have never heard of a gun killing anything by if self someone's has to pull the trigger.

If everyone carried a gun, ppl would be more respectful of other's and ther property. Until the war on drugs is over, there will never be enough jail cells to put real criminals in, no matter how many we build.
