I've been home since May so no. But I go back on the 1st. I should have a better parking area though.

Usually I go out to my car every day at school whether I'm driving it or not.

I've got one, but only use it when it's perfectly clean so it doesn't leave scratches. So if I take it off and drive it I won't really want to put it back on.

No, you don't get a F!cking bike lane. You don't pay licensing fees or special taxes that go to maintaining the roads, so get the F!ck off of them. Even the fastest pedal bike isn't comparable to a car in speed, and certainly not density or mass. Then, they start special road construction, slowing everyone down, they start taking away car lanes to make room for bike lanes, then you get bikers out in the middle of the intersection using the car turn lane. F!ck you, bikers! Use the F!cking sidewalks.

True story, I was walking down the sidewalk and a bicyclist comes straight at me. Collision was imminent, so I lowered my shoulder and F!cked his day up. Try that with a car. Worst case scenario, biker hits pedestrian. Both fall down. Scraped knee. Small bruises. Mild cursing. Apologies all around. Both people continue on their ways. Biker and car collide. Tiny VW bug smashes and kills biker. One person goes to morge with crushed skull, one person goes to prison. It's not F!cking fair.

So, in conclusion, bicycles using motor vehicle roadways really grind my gears.

Unfortunately this is the way of the world now and we need to get used to it. I have the bicycles in my area that ride in "Tour De France posses" in their cute little nut snugging uniforms and helmets as if they were training professionally. They take up a lot of the road. I have started to combating this by getting next to them, dropping a gear and flooring it, giving them a little "hello and get the f$ck out of the road!"

Yeah, way to take the responsible path here.

Like it or not, cyclists are here to stay. Heaven forbid you experience a -minor inconvenience- due to a cyclist's presence on your sacred roadways.

Heaven forbid cyclist use the sidewalks that are already there. Heaven forbid we keep comparable traffic flowing with comparable traffic. Heaven forbid we keep everything capable of maintaining the speed limit on the roads with speed limits. Heaven forbid we keep the massive, dense, fast vehicles traveling with other massive, dense, fast vehicles... and let the slow, squishy cyclists travel with the slow, squishy pedestrians. Heaven forbid the cyclists start needing tags and liceses to help pay for the roads like motor vehicles do.

when a thread gets closed bc, someone keeps posting crap they have no clue about. "Hp this hp that" " weight this weight that" etc etc. it annoying to say the least.

Pretty sure the thread got closed because people prove incapable of debating the topic without insulting each other. The discussion of respective power to weight ratios between different vehicles really had nothing to do with the thread being closed.

Insults and bickering is what gets threads closed. Their is a way to debate a topic without it getting nasty.

I'm all for having to register and license everything on the roadway. If I can't ride a dirt bike on the road, why can someone else ride a bicycle? That makes no sense to me. There are very, very few sidewalks around here, and cyclists are not legally permitted to use them anyway. Bike lanes might as well be sidewalks because they're a part of the ride that cars are not permitted to drive on anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I would selfishly prefer if cyclists were not ever on the road. But I get why they are.

Well, fair enough. But not a single person involved in that Hellcat discussion truly knew what they were talking about. In all 20 pages, there is not a single mention of anyone with actual driving experience in the car we were debating. Everyone who posted was talking from pure speculation and information they found online.

I am sure some of the people who worship the GT500 have never driven one, much less went toe to toe with a Hellcat in one.

I think the thread actually got closed because everyone is a special snowflake with feelings that we have to protect and nobody seems to be able to take a joke or understand the concept of sarcasm.

Not talking about that either. I'm taking hp and weight in general. If someone does not have personal experience with it, keep there mouth shut. 300hp-1400hp 2800lbs-5400 lbs etc. It's easy to run your mouth, but untill you tinker with it, you can't say what will and will not happen.

There is absolutely a lot more to consider than just horsepower and weight in general. That is very true.

Try stopping a F250 loaded with four mowers and other equipment while a legion of the tour de idiots pulls right out in front of you. I think the majority of drivers need to pay more attention to the road for bikers and cyclists but at the same time the cycling public needs to realize thier limits and those of the vehicles on the road. If I drove a diesel I would turn it up and roll coal on them, seriously.
Driving is a great privilege and comes with great responsibility that being said some on both sides of the road issue need to pay more attention.

Drove into a pothole tonight that I couldn't see thanks to the aftermarket headlights that light the road like glow sticks. I was so so angry, I never hit a pothole so hard in my life. AND ITS MID SUMMER. Get your s%@t together ny highway dept. Thank god because I am astonished the rim didn't crack, or pop a tire, because I was far up in a mountain with no one around for miles.
