I'm not against any car being there in fact it's nice to see all Mustangs represented. I was just annoyed listening to some punk with a crappy 83 acting like the s197's should not be there. I like the classics as much as anyone else and I'm currently looking to buy a 69 mustang. The s197's drew a lot of attention and I think that ruffled some guys feathers. What some people need to realize is that those 60's musclecars are pushing 50 years old and to a lot of today's younger kids they might as well be Model T's. I was fortunate enough to catch the tail end of the Musclecars period of affordability so I have owned a few nice ones but even at my age the cars that remind me of my youth would be the late Fox Bodies up through the new edges. In fact I love the 03-04 Mach 1, Cobras, and the Roush 360R.

It's clowns like this that distroy the hobby of a car show event, or even a local get together. Most of these shows or get togethers are organized by the "older" owners, usually have the older cars. They invite all makes and models, in hopes that it shows the younger crowd of an interesting hobby that there's more than silly street burnouts and loud exhaust.

Then you get someone like this showing up. Too bad the organizers were not made aware of it; they no doubt would have asked him to leave. What he fails to realize is that his 83 Mustang will soon age even more, and in his own eyes, not be worthy of shows?

The club that organized the show is great and it was a great time I don't even think that clown was even a member. I think he was just jealous because it was all he could afford and instead of being humble about it he chose to act like a jerk. But he was intentionally talking loudly and he was getting on other peoples nerves too.

What store did you work in? I used to work at Home Depot part time. That's a trip, seeing all the home owners that think they know everything.
And full time I'm a contractor. And I can't stand people that want something for nothing and expect it to be done in 30 mins

Time to vent. So the airbag light on our kia turned on so we took it in under warranty. Well of course they said it doesn't cover it and now they want 2500 to fix. They said we can do that or trade it in for another car. I feel this is bull**** and that they should take responsibility.... I really don't know what to do

If it was I would put a piece of black tape over the airbag light and keep on getting on. You could try to reset it first just google airbag reset for your particular car if you haven't tried that yet. Sometimes you reset them they stay out.

I don't see how an air bag light isn't under warranty, time to try another dealer or call someone higher.

Isn't Kia owned by ford? Just wondering. And all Kia dealers should warranty any Kia car regardless, at least that's how ford goes.

I'd go higher up the pay scale if you don't have luck. I know we have ford reps on these forums and others.

Pshh you made your point there rocknbronco. These idiots want me to drive around with my 2 year old with a "50% chance that non of the air bags will deploy" exact words the service rep said

Does the airbag light flash a code before it comes on solid? I believe most models/makes run a "pre-diagnostic" when the key is turned to "on" (but not started); count the number of flashes, then google that air bag "code".

As an example, I had a Ford Ranger that one day lit the airbag light on my cluster; I turned the key to "on", and watched it flash a code. It flashed twice, then paused, then flashed a second code (five flashes I believe), and repeated this 3 times. I had a code 25. I googled this, and found it to be a burned out bulb that illuminates when the drivers side seat was turned off with the ignition key. Changed that bulb, and no more airbag code.

I'm guessing the service adviser thinks you have a faulty airbag. Not always the case when this light illuminates. There are seat sensors, dash lights, seat belt connectors, and bumper sensors that are tied into the air bag system.

Its solid. You turn the key and the air bag light is already on. I wouldn't be surprised of it was some type of sensor because it will chime non stop about the passenger seat belt even though there is no one there

Have you tried to reset it? It also could be the sensor that tells the computer someone is sitting in the passenger seat. If you buckle the seatbelt does it go away? I would start with that passenger seat if the seatbelt light is on on no one is sitting there. Check for a loose connector.

My dog deciding that chewing and ripping out the coaxial cable for my second floor bedroom cable box twice is a great idea. On my third cable in less than one week and radio shack in town is going out of business and I hope they have one 50 footer left. Need to relocate the cable along the back of my house up to the second floor. Stupid dog.
