Thought I change it up by saying some good news. My grandpa at 99 broke his hip a two months ago came home after rehab and is walking now and saw my grandma for first time in long time. Married 73 years and still act like they first met.

That's a great photo TGR!

What's grinding my gears is setting a goal of making the three services for Church on a Sunday morning and nor making a single one, Prayer, Sunday school, and Worship service all missed. For months in a row now.....

That's a great point and I think you hit the nail on the head.

I truly am thankful for what I have, it's certainly not the newest or nicest, but when I consider how many people would love to just have a car, let alone a Mustang it puts things into perspective.

It was nice, showed my rusty roof on my barn and my boat covered up. My dogs were out terrorizing, which you can see my lab. It wasn't as bad as they said it would be...

Punks on four wheelers grind my gears after nearly hitting a handicapped lady and tearing up the grass after tearing through a parking lot right before Sunday evening services.

I had to buy a grille for the Tundra now and that grinds my gears.

Also no tax return screwed up my plans for new to the wife Suburban and suprise 10th Anniversary trip......

Sunday really ground my gears...

Attachment 181072
Attachment 181073
I walked out of my house one morning, a few years ago, getting ready to go to work. I hear my dogs barking and growling at something and I see her. Well I call for my dogs, and lock them up. Then go and check on her. She immediately ran up to me with her tail between her legs and looked up at me. She was a kind dog very calm and affectionate. Well I was forced to leave her and go to work. She was on my mind until lunch when I tell the secretary about the situation. I feared for her safety because she was around my dogs and you know how dogs are about an intruder. So, I hurry home and luckily she's still there and with no new wounds. So, I grab a bowl full of dog food and give it to her, she wolfed it down. I get another bowl and lure her to the bed of my truck. After a few attempts I got her in the bed, and took her to work. My secretary came out to look at her, with her tail wagging and licking her hand. So we get her inside and take a look at her current wounds....
Attachment 181074
She had an open wound on the end of her tail and blood formed on her sides due to her tail wagging. And judging by wounds on her legs and body it looked like she was thrown out of a moving vehicle. It made sense, since I lived very close to a highway. She was nervous being at the shop so I stay with her. Gently petting her and telling her she was safe and no one was going to hurt her. And all this time I'm thinking how could someone do something like this to a dog, that's so loving and affectionate, got teared up a couple of times. After several calls, and attempts to get in touch with an animal rescuer that I know, who works with pits. I wasn't able to reach him and I'm getting worried. I couldn't take her home with me because of my dogs. And I went to a store and got more dog food, well she threw it up twice but kept it done the third time. I'm getting really nervous because it's close to five and she couldn't come home with me. After one last call to the animal rescuer, the secretary's son walks in. She immediately goes to greet him and looses all her fear at the shop. After about thirty minutes the son decides to take her home with him. I was glad I knew he'd take care of her. I'm happy to say she, Lovely, has made a full recovery and is at a proper weight and all wounds healed!
I have no respect for people who treat animals like this and I think they should burn in...
Well you get the picture...

Not a fan pits but the dog that's considered dangerous that I love is a Rot. Had one loved him to death even though he nearly took my right eye. It wasn't his fault, we just got back from a weeks vacation and you know how dogs are when you get back. Plus he was still a puppy, it's a puppy in a dogs body scenario. I was little and we were rolling around in the yard and it kinda happened. One of the nicest dogs I've had and very loving, and the protectiveness and loyalty of them. We could learn some things from them...
I'm not faulting pits, great dogs, just not my cup of tea...

I've got a black lab, and my other dog we don't know what he is. We say he's damaged goods...
But my lab has very little to none of the Labrador personality traits...

Totally agree with this. You think my lights are "bright", wait till I find some real "brights" ... maybe a few extra ones for those rare aholes.

What Grinds Your Gears?

It annoys the hell out of me. Which I know why he does it, and this isn't the fist time this has happened, luckily my other dog isn't covered in it, this time. We live about a half mile from a small farm and they go rolling in the crap. And the smell starts for at least 2 weeks...

My dog sniffs out a turd, roughly 50 feet away... You know far enough so I don't quite see where it is exactly. Then once she's sniffed it, she stops, looks back at me with one of those tilted head "hey bro watch this" looks. Then proceeds to pounce the turd and roll in it laughing her *** off.

What Grinds Your Gears?

Someone came in the shop with 21,000 miles over due on an oil change, and she says the engine has a ticking sound. And she gets all pissed when I tell her, you don't go 21,000 miles over on conventional oil, and the ticking isn't good...

An older man asked me a while back what the tick was coming from his motor. He said he changed the oil every 5k (it was I believe a 95lx vert). I asked what type of filter he was using and he said "what filter?" That's correct, he had done 25 oil changes (car had 150k) and never once changed the filter !!! Some people should not procreate I swear

Do you remember what brand filter? Apparently it takes 25 oil changes to clog the anti drainback valve lol
