Not very many people will understand that, or don't want to understand that.

These athletes that get paid millions of dollars and complain constantly. They dress like gangsters, I can find garbage cans cleaner than their mouths and they call themselves role models for our children. Our children are watching this and think it's normal.
Sports used to have class.
It's impossible to go to a game for the cost of them. I think fans should protest. Bring sum balance. Sorry had to vent, been watching the playoffs. ha..

What Grinds Your Gears?

Playoffs? That's NBA right? Sorry, I've never cared for sports, so I'm just wanting to clarify.
I watch endurance racing that's about it.

It is. Irritates the hell out of me, and I think the Prednisone helps too. Best offer I've been given, but I've decided against it.

Basically to sum it up he gives god the glory for having the opportunities that he has had and quoting Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called"

He didn't have any hatred and knew he was in good hands, and Jesus was gonna see him through.
It was just cool to read and you could tell there was no hatred in him especially since we're used to hearing the complete opposite

What Grinds Your Gears?

That's honorable. Wow few like that anymore.
I don't have hatred towards them if that's what you're referring to. Most of the happiest memories of my life happened in that Impala. That's why I hold on to it, it reminds of the good times. It's my stress reliever. And the thought of selling it, irritated me. It felt like I was betraying those memories. Some might understand but others won't.

Great memories, if it wasn't for the stupid tanker is still have it. But I was fortunate that Gods hand was on my truck cab. I wish I coulda kept it but ohwell, so yea I know what you mean.Click image for larger version

What Grinds Your Gears?

My Silverado is about to hit 190k, making arrangements to fix the rust issues. Trucks been too good to me to just let it rot away.

People on their phones or fumbling with crap in their car and not paying attention to driving. Cutting in front of you and not using a turn signal; getting ahead of you just to turn off the road at the next turnoff.

What Grinds Your Gears?

Yea I'm selling one of my cars to buy another Roush. If I get it I'm done buying cars for a while. But then again I made an offer on a 64 GTO last week, waiting to hear back from the owner.

Yea there are days where I don't want my mustang because I think having 1 car would be simpler but then when it's 75 at night and the top is down with the heated seats, it changes my mind lol

It's a new edge, but I'm not selling my Roush to buy it. Selling one of my other cars.

It's okay for older people to have things in life but when younger people have worked hard and have items I'm considered materialistic or spoiled

It's understandable. Does it get annoying to be constantly judged by what you have, at a certain age? Yes, but that's life.
