And before anyone starts getting all "half cocked"!.. The 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with personal protection!.. As the Founding Fathers felt that Personal Protection was a God Given Right that No Law was needed to establish that fact!..

My facts for Central Florida's gun crime going up came from the local news and newspaper. I'll assume it was mainly in part to the nightclub shooting that happened last month here.

I'll stop posting on this, as we do not want to get "political"; it will shut down a thread quick here, and we do not want anyone to get heated.

It does grind my gears though that a solution to crime in public places is to carry a weapon. Sad.

I would let this one go for the moment. People are entitled to their opinions. I really don't care what someone else's opinion is as long as I don't have to listen to it more than once.

I can assure you that you are surrounded by a forum of armed Mustang enthusiasts. I am also certain that they are all just as passionate about their right to bear arms as they are their cars.

Yes, I'm sure you need a gun & holster on your desk...
ok, first, i have no issues with people having guns & gun rights, i just there are more important things that can & should be priority.

Stay in Canada, you will be fine.

Have you ever noticed that criminals will act as a criminal, regardless of the law? That pretty much sums up the definition of a criminal.

Law abiding gun owners are fine people. If you remove the right to own firearms, only criminals will own them.

As for "gun free" zones; I doubt a violent criminal really cares about that law or restriction. I prefer to be prepared than be a victim. In fact, a gun free zone is the perfect target for an idiot hell bent in doing as much damage as possible.

Oddly enough, it is people such as myself willing to place my life on the line to protect those that are anti gun and surprised when an attack happens. Do I carry a weapon to play cowboy or be a hero? No; and I I hope and pray I never have to take a life, or use my weapon.

It is a sad and scary world that we live in. I actually do carry when I am working. Actually, I always have at least one weapon on me at all times. I even have a weapon at church.

I bet the teachers in the schools that were invaded wished they could have been better at defending their children. How about the movie theater? What about France and Germany recently?

My life is consumed with God, family, good music, guns, and fast cars. I am pretty sure people such as myself make up the majority of America.

Not a good day, but at least you are not stuck praying to the IT gods that Inventor is not going to lock up at a bad time, and delete several hours of progress.

Proving to my fellow racers that the disdain that some GT drivers have for V6 drivers is unfounded, one results archive at a time since 2013.
