Getting a lawyer now. They're trying to weasel their way out of the repairs. Saying his warranty has expired which is total bull****.

That's not healthy. Hopefully it is a simple issue that can be quickly and easily repaired.

i hope so; my brother is going to take a look at it during his lunch break.
Well, it's 11 years old now;
I got a new power steering pump a month ago; that's the only thing that has gone wrong with it (besides the cd player dying, which is average with them.)
I'm thinking positive; my birthdays a month away...

Just look at your dad with those beautiful big eyes, a sad pouty lip, and tell him how grateful you would be for a new 5.0 for your birthday.

Uh huh.
Ok, it WAS his idea for me buy my car in the first place, & he paid half,
I will never complain about my Stang, cause i love it & I'm going to keep it as long as possible;
however....
IF my dad bought me another Mustang (which will never happen,)
it would be a 4 cylinder,
because, for whatever reason,
he has a fit if gas goes up even 1 cent.
"8 cylinders?! You don't want that gas hog!!"
But he will buy new furniture, & remodel everything just cause he's bored.
oh well.

When screen on your three and a half year old windows phone gives up two hours in to a 24 hour race at VIR (no real civilization for about an hour and a half). Between that, the misfire from **** starting again eight hours in until the finish (the cam position sensor on the second gen Miata is known to overheat and do that, so the spec miata guys rate their life at thirty minutes), the synchros on third through fifth giving up six hour in (could not take the two hour hit to swap transmissions, so we pushed on), and a front control arm getting progressively worse (to the point that even going straight in the last 20 minutes of the race, it felt like the front left wheel was about to eject), it made for a long weekend.

That said, I very pleased with winning our class at the 24 hours of VIR, on our first try for that event, and our first season in the series. That made for an excellent ending for the day, but it was sobering that while 84 cars started, only only 29 finished.

Proving to my fellow racers that the disdain that some GT drivers have for V6 drivers is unfounded, one results archive at a time since 2013.

K, update:
I got a new power steering pump last month, & the bolts came loose & ripped my belt;
new belt $30, replaced under warranty 👍🏽

Dad: "You got lucky, kiddo."
Me: "You just don't want to buy me a new one for my birthday."
Dad: "Damn right I don't."

^ Do you recognize the number? If not, don't call back. Phone and text soliciters use this trick to obtain a "live" number.

Nope. If I did, I would not call back, as I usually have nothing to say to myself that's worth a response.

Went in to AutoZone for a simple task... Buy wiper blades. After buying a set, finding out only certain ones work (of course not the ones I just bought) and getting a refund... I ended up having to buy some online cause they didn't have one of the two I needed.

That is unless I wanted to pay $50 a set.

As an ex Autozone employee, it's a habit. The prompts on the screen make you pick one so better to just pick the right one.

I have. How do they do that? It has to be illegal.
My caller ID says I'm getting a call from MY phone, on MY line, that is ringing now?
But like you above, I have no reason to talk to me. I doubt I'd listen to me anyway.

I dunno how they do it; (computer stuffs,) but I doubt it's illegal, & they're probably calling from India or wherever.

Sitting at a winery drinking wine. Top down. Starts pouring rain. Run out to start it to put the top up. Nothing. Negative battery terminal loose. Wiggle it and finally get it to start. Put the top up. Inside soaked already. Sun comes back out.
