Thing is I can be driving the wife's Enclave and going faster and he says/does nothing. It's all about the perception driving a loud yellow car I guess. Lol. I just wave at him and say hello as I coast on by him.

That's a drag. Buy your PUP a kiddie pool filled with water. It's been hot here too, our dog is not handling it as well this year either.

We've been under a severe heat advisory for over a week, and it supposedly ends on Sunday. He's in the A/C now with my other 2. Scary thing is he isn't even my long hair dense coat one.

Little update. Took him to the vet early this morning. He stayed with them all day for tests and observation. Diagnosis is a mild heat stroke and pancreatitis. He's on meds and should make a full recovery.

Back to thread topic: A/C just went out.

My dog runs out, feels the heat, and runs back inside.

He says, "Screw you Summer heat and humidity"!

Hopefully the A/C is a quick, cheap, and easy repair.

What Grinds Your Gears?

It's geothermal. Closest repair place is 40 miles away. But no worries it's back up, few ways we've learned to get back running. It pleasantly shuts down when it get really hot out. 98 yesterday with 10-15 degree heat index with 90% humidity. Luckily my family from Lousiville canceled their trip down here. One my Cousins is disabled and it's entirely to hot for her. I think they're coming next weekend.

Too much of a weight gap and the big male (Brady) can easily hurt, or worse, (Tommy is the littlest one) my dogs. He's already attacked my other male dog (Australian Sheperd, 65lbs), and the problem is he's a genius. He figured out he could get out of my brothers fenced (white picket) in backyard and that's why he's at my house. Took two days before he figured out how to get under my fence (no digging). He's over at my house because my brothers neighbors called the police at 3 in the morning a couple of weeks ago, and he wasn't in town. The police didn't know what to call him so they called him Hercules.
He hasn't been socialized with other male dogs. So he doesn't know how to act around them so dominance is his first action. I'm not faulting the dog but he's just too big and strong to be attacking my dogs. And I can't stay home and watch them all day to make sure that it doesn't happen.

It's hard to break an unsocialized alpha. Separation is really the only answer.

Sorry to hear that Recon. How frustrating. Where's your Brother on this? Are you bigger than your Brother? Can you take him? Are you the Alpha of the two?

...and do not quit buy not showing up. Have enough respect for yourself, and the guts to talk to your employer, to act like a responsible adult. If you cannot give somone the common courtesy to tell them you are leaving, you don't need a job

In every business I have ever owned or ran there were people I had to fire. Unless they "earned" an immediate dismissal I would give them a few days to a week to find new employment. If I couldn't do that, I would give an extra week's salary.

did she at least return the truck?

I have company hdepot & lowes cards and have warned them they had better get those b4 they can me. I can just see their face when they get a $20,000.00 bill and after they call up home depot to ask about it the depot will go "we want him too, he rented the truck at $15 for 75 minutes and that was 6 weeks ago..."

People down the road have a sn95 cobra. Pulled up on a wrecker about 2 months ago. Been siting in same spot since being dropped off. Well they throw a for sale sign on it 3 days ago. nobody is ever at the house, and they won't answer the # they put on the sign.

Sorry for not responding earlier. Work has been very trying lately.
Our relationship doesn't need to get any worse than it already is. Thankfully both German Shepherds are back at his house now. Tommy's wounds are healing up very well. Nothing major just a few cuts and thank God they aren't deep. It happened while I was at work needless to say I wasn't happy about it. Luckily my father and grandfather were around to pull Brady off of him.
