When I'm outside working on my car and a total stranger asks me if I do mechanic work! I say, no, I just work on my own stuff and then they still ask me how much I'd charge to fix their car. I'll pull out my phone and start adding numbers on the calculator. Today I quoted some guy $2,316 for a brake job. he declined...

I have ppl do this too. I tell them 50 for an oil change, 80 for synthetic, and no gaurantees or liability. 300 for brake pads all round, 500 to do the rotors too. I've done a couple actually... this includes parts. Its usually easy money.

That's cool. My only problem is, I hate working on cars! I love my cars and out of the love for my machines I do the work myself because I know it'll be done right. I never cut corners. The next time someone comes up to me, I'll send them your way. Lol

When my wife tries on 5 different outfits and I pick the one I like and then she says "Really?" Oh, I'm sorry I didn't pick the one YOU should've just picked in the first place so you wouldn't have wasted 15mins of my time.

+1
Or the loaded question "does this make me look fat and does this color match this color?"

Yeah I'm a bit north east. I used to drive through Ocala on my way to Slam Fest in Tampa but then they switched it to Gainesville a couple years ago.

Lol I hate that the most!! And then when u go to the mall and want to go see the car parts or video games she gets furious!! Or when she asks for your opinion and picks the opposite of what u pick EVERY SINGLE TIME. hate that.

That's what I do, I have a purse in the trunk that has detailer, 6 microfiber towels, WD40, paper towels, qtips, leather wipes, lint roller, tire polish, thicker rags, window cleaner, heavy citrus cleaner, touch up paint, Cali duster and a few other things, always ready
