The fact that my family, brother mom n dad dont know how to talk to each other when its work. A lot of misunderstandings and broken communication. Its such a simple fix but if I say anything there goes my behind =\. What just happened, my brother tells my mom if she could send em to dallas he can make it but the load has to be early. My mom says I dont know what times or loads are up tomorrow. Then this an that now there both mad. All that was needed to be said is, mom- ill see what I can do if not ill just bring you home (early or late Tuesday). End of story.

Re: What Grinds Your Gears?

do you try to push these common communications onto them? Sometimes all they need is a swift kick in the @$$ from another family member from an unbiased aspect to steer them the right direction

yes you are too close to sea level, you'd be pumping out your basement every 2 hours with the water coming in.

Try taking this assessment for yourself first, then analyze others, friends, family, etc.. It will probably make you a more effective communicator as well.

Not only will it help you become a better listener it will also improve your relationships.

Also look at these descriptions posted at this link:

Listening Styles - Parenting

If you find your results interesting take them to your family, and friends.

I am a people oriented listener. And I am not a psychologist just a communications major. I enjoy communications just not taking on it online.
