^300 inline six. Engine built to military specs. Can't destroy it. Trust me I've tried. I've ran used oil with leaves sticks and dirt in it and it ran like nothing was wrong. But I only did that when I lost all oil pressure and oil due to bad valve cover gasket.

^sweet! That engine was bulletproof. The only reason they had to get rid was for fuel economy

^should know they should have kept it. Just slap a turbo on it and make it ecoboost I've seen 1 barrel carb trucks with this engine get 20-30mpg. If you tune it right it can be fuel economic.

^they are torquey as hell. Once I get my turbo project done. I will be putting 250-300hp and 350-400 flbs of torque. No problem squatting my truck or squalling the tires then I'm putting maybe 145hp 200 flbs now

^just think if they brought it back as a economic work horse engine as a ecoboost. It would be as powerful if not more than the 5.0
