On Monday, my wife and I drove this Smart Car from Cancun into Cichen Itza in the Yucatan in Mexico (550km round trip). It has about 1 HP (that's 1 Hamster Power). I wore my Shelby GT500 T-Shirt while driving it in the hope it would make it go faster, but noooooo..... The rev counter red lines at 6500 but at 4000, rubber bands fall out of it at an alarming rate. I have never driven anything so underpowered in my life. We were being overtaken by butterflies.....

The trip was fun though - we even drove it through downtown Cancun - not in the tourist district. Apparently all road signs and rules in Mexico are merely optional.

Saw one white GT and one old Foxbody all the time we were here. No Corvettes, one Camaro and no chargers. Thousands of speed bumps do not make driving here conducive to muscle cars

I forgot to mention that when you stop the engine stops too (to save gas) but when you hit the gas again, there's a great hesitant pause of nothingness while the hamster wakes up and gets on the wheel again....!
