I will never own another car that is FWD. AWD or RWD from here on out.

Exactly. It makes no sense... and is less fun. RWD or AWD, that's it for me.

New wheels and tires just came in. Can't wait for a weekend off to get them on and head to the track.

What made me smile? Tyler sending me a picture of the Joker saying happy hump-day. That made me smile.

As for fwd cars... I don't like how the entire back half of the car is useless. Just being dragged around. I like the linear progression of power in a rwd car. The whole car is being put to use. It just makes more sense to me. Plus, in a rwd car, you only have the engine in the engine bay. With fwd, you look in the engine bay and see the engine/transmission/axle... it's crowded, and cock-eyed, and gross. If you have ever changed spark plugs on a transverse mounted V6, you gain a quick, yet thorough, hatred of the fwd drivetrain. The driving experience of a rwd car is better in every aspect, hands down.

Nope. That was a slight bump. Not involved whatsoever.

Severe stomach pains. We thought it was appendicitis, or my VP shut failing.

They couldn't find anything wrong, even with an ultrasound, blood work, and urine analysis. So they think it's a stomach virus. I'm on pain management meds now. When I was in the ER, the pain was so bad I needed morphine. Only time I've needed that other than my surgeries.

Honda Civic Si pulled up next to me at a red light, rolled down his window and got my attention. We chatted about Shakespeare for the duration of the light. Once the light turned green, we shook hands and bid our farewells until next time. We gently applied pressure to the throttle and slowly crawled up to the speed limit of 45mph together, enjoying Bitter Sweet Symphony on the radio in a duet fashion. It was lovely.

Hey man.... I went to the ER with severe stomach pains roughly 2 years ago. They sent me home with a diagnosis of constipation... I was like okay, sure. Extreme pain continued all night (I didn't take any pain meds. I tend to refuse taking pain meds that may mask a bigger problem because I wasn't convinced with their diagnosis). The next morning I threw up and felt an instant relief from the pain for a couple of minute and then got hit with it even harder than before. Drove myself back to the ER (boy, that was hard as fk) and had to wait about 8 hours for them to get to me (woohoo, New Year's Eve). They gave me a CT scan and there it was, my appendix was massive.

Morale of the story, don't mess with extreme stomach pain. Doctors can make mistakes. I would suggest you stop the pain meds to see if you're still in pain. I would hate for your appendix to rupture because you couldn't feel it.

Not trying to scare you... Just talking from my own appendicitis experience after being sent home with a wrong diagnosis.

Get well soon!

Yeah, they checked everything, and my appendix was normal. Thus was probably 12 hours after the pain started too. But yeah, if it gets extreme again, I'll be right back in the ER, the pain hasn't been on my right, it's right over my stomach.

This damn thread made me smile just now. With the correction to the street racing comment. Henceforth, all streetracing shenanigans shall be referred to as chatting about Shakespeare. That did indeed make me smile.
