How fast the police responded to my false house alarm. Less than 5 minutes but now I'll have to wait for my fee 😥

Dang that's nice they were quick though.

I had to register with the county and I think I get 1 free false or some thing like that per year.

They are very good trucks, and last forever if taken care of properly.

What made me smile today?

A second gear acceleration run through a tunnel to 5,000 rpm........with the top down....

I really like the stock 2015 GT exhaust. Quiet when cruising, a nice rumble at low rpm's and at idle, and a really nice mechanical howl when you are hard on it!

Recon, I waxed my truck today and there's no typical rocker rust or door sill rust. So definitely grateful, being its almost 12yrs old. That 5.3 motor picks up and goes too

Yea, I've got my passenger rocker starting to but the driver side is clean. But the driver side rear wheel well there's some rust bubbles and passenger side there's a scratch. Pretty minor stuff, I'm waiting for my body shop to give me a call so I can get it fixed before it can get worse. But for over 191K miles it's in pretty good shape. So is that 01 Sierra we worked on and it had over 321K miles on it.

Guard, with my roush ab they'd pop or backfire, sounds like a gun shot. What's your setup?

Recon, were lucky we have good trucks, won't have to get a new one for long time. At least that's my plan. I hate car payments

I never could understand brand loyalty. To me having all fords or all Chevys or even all Porsche's would be so boring. Having cars from different brands is what I like. Which there's a lot of cool cars made from so many brands. But that's just me I guess. And yes their trucks are excellent.

I've been through custom exhausts on just about every car I've owned....my last Mustang, a 97 Cobra, had a Bassani cat back......that was a nice sounding system.
For me now, at my age.....I like the stock exhaust. It's just the right amount of quiet cruise and mechanical mayhem when you are deeper in the throttle.
If it were up to me, the idle might even be a bit quieter in order for the whole system to be ideal.......if I like the stock exhaust's sound, can I still be a member here?

Hi Glenn

I see you have a convertible. A loud exhaust on a convertible would be pretty annoying when you have the top down.
With the top down you can still probably hear your stock pipes.
If you ever do get a performance exhaust, I would suggest a set of Magnaflow streets to give a great sound that you would really like without the obnoxious loud noise a set of Borla ataks would give you. Borla does make a Touring Muffler and They make the Ford Racing touring mufflers that are louder then stock but not as deep of a rumble as the Magnaflow streets.
A lot of people on the forum like to keep their Mustangs totally stock.
Ronnie

I've had ford all my life, and my dad has too. I'm just not used to not seeing the blue oval in the wheel.
So my thoughts on chevy
Pros: steering wheel finger grooves
Cloth seats are so comfy
Engine acceleration is awesome
Classic Dashboard look
Cons: ac isn't as cold as my truck
No interior drivers side door handle.
Daytime running lights. Not really a fan

Yea, mine is great but I don't have a steering rack. First year for those is 01. And the power steering doesn't work when I'm turning right. Left works just fine but right no. It just started doing it about two weeks ago. We put some PS solvent in it and it helped. Only thing I wish that I got on my truck is the 494.

I won't unveil until I'm completely finished ... It's the same ones dom had on the cutty. But I plan to pinstripe the rear wheels to match my stripes. I did a test mod on stocks it looks sick... Can't wait to see it complete

This is somewhat of the concept but I will personally pinstripe to wheel to match my stripes

The one in the fourth movie?
If you're talking about the black car during the semi truck and tankers scene then that's a Buick Regal.
