Engine is getting rebuilt. Then it's coming home and we're installing the interior. Piston wear in front 2 cylinders.

Yes it will. If everything goes according to plan it should be done by spring. Then off to find the next project!

It's hard to drive with work boots, and with shoes in general.

He is a big dude, not 350 but a solid 250ish. Not much of a beer belly either.

He does, just a tight fit when the car is in the garage next to the Jag or Merc. He is building another house (directly across the street) so he can have a larger garage. Going from a 2 car to a 5 car, then the golf cart slot.

Got my new tires today but I couldn't smile since the guy stalled my car, ground first gear and then the fella had the balls to lean on the car while installing the tires...

Hm, nice little collection he has. It's also an issue for us, not enough garage space.

Tell him that as his boss you feel if he is lying to you about that, what else is he lying about. Kind of like one of my troops convinced that his Mazda could do a 13.0 and that that was a fast 1/4 time...

Had to take the car in for a "rattle" up front. Had visions of the turbo having gone out on me. Just got a call from the shop. The exhaust had shifted a little and was tapping on the rail and transmission mounting, and a clamp was missing. He realigned it and put a new clamp on it. Test drove it and everything is all set - then said "no charge, you're a good customer and it was a simple thing".

He asked if I had bottomed out with it recently. I had the drag wheels and tires on a couple of weeks ago and forgot that they are about 1.5" shorter than the stock wheels and tires. Went over a spot that is no problem for the stock set up, but bottomed out with the race set up - so must have pulled the exhaust over and tore off the clamp then.
