Personally, I think the 2011 up to 2016 V8 Mustang is the best "BANG for the BUCK car you can buy.

But I also think the 3.7 V6 is too.

The 2015 up four cylinder is good for those that want one, but not for me at all.

Just being honest I raced a Ecoboost performance pkg 15 vs my '10 gt (4.6) on a private track in Gainesville fl on two different occasions in three attempts total and the closest I got was within a car length.

Not saying I can drive or anything but if I was a skilled driver it prob would've still been within half a cars distance.

On a separate note while out visiting my parents In west tx tonight apparently all you have to do is drive with your fog lights on and other mustangs (5.0, gt's,& V6's) will wanna play. Needless to say I had a cpl sprints up to 60mph or so and everyone one of them was friendly and seemed as happy as I was to see another stang out on the road as they were. So all in all mustangs for the m'fin win!

Maybe one million dollars will buy it

Hi kona010,
The Turbo four is a great car and really works fine.
I don't track, do any auto-Xing or drag racing anymore so I'm more then happy with my V6.
I plan on keeping this Mustang till I'm gone over the rainbow bridge.
It does more then I need it to do, It was love at first sight the first day I seen it on the dealers lot and the novelty has never worn off.
I still go out in the garage just to look at my Mustang.
I enjoy driving it.
My dog Mario loves it.
It is Paid for and under warranty until 70,000 mile or seven years. ( FORD FACTORY)
The only time I did take it to the drag strip in Orlando I did a 13.3 quarter. ( With Effort)
I only use 87 octane and get 30MPG on the highway and 24 to 26 around town.
I drive it like I want to and really don't try for the best MPG.
If I did sell my Red Ryder it would be for at least one million dollars, Not one dollar less.

There is not one thing I can say is wrong with a V-8 or even the Turbo four. I'm happy Ford provides them. It gives people a choice.

I just like my Mustang and it just ain't for sale.
Ronnie

Got my new cloths in from amazon today, nothing like a warm cozy sweater in winter or a new pair of boots for it.

That's something I wouldn't do. They'll probably cut some corners to meet that budget. There's tricks here and there to do it.

I guess I don't see how the markup on body work can be an more ridiculous than having a rearend built, a transmission or engine. Had a guy wanting me to build him a Ford Flathead V8........When I told him it would take me 40 hours and my time would be $1200 he told me I was crazy....I politely told him to leave......$30 per hour is nothing and I was just going to do it for fun....if you have a shop, rent, insurance, utilities and paying salaries for people.....IMHO

at the garage where my brother works, the rent was $6,000/month. On Jan. 1, it's doubling to $12k/month!

Doubling a persons rent is just plain "WRONG"
There has to be a story behind this or like I said"GREED" They may actually think the tenants will pay this extortion.

I hope they can find a nice affordable place to move to.

Had a friend that purchased a 68 Torino Fastback from Bill Ireland....Bill was a Ford sponsered racer back in the 60's.......with 427 side oiler and 4spd. Sure was a heavy car.

Not today, but this past weekend, got to be a part of two of my best friends getting married. The flight back home hit some rough weather as we were landing (bad enough that we had to do a go around and fly an extra 30min on a 90min flight). The second time was also pretty rough but we touched down safely; never been so happy to be on the ground.

Today, coming home from work I had to get on it due to an idiot changing lanes in an intersection. Borlas roared and I was going much faster than necessary in no time! That made me smile.

Downsizing from 3400sqft to 1900sqft and from a 4 car garage to just two has felt a little.....smaller. When it came time to put up lights it only took me an hour instead of 3 and that put a big smile on my face. I know it's just around the gutters and that's fine with me.....feels like Christmas time now.
