Looks good to me...brought back some memories.
Brought a motor home one time, put it on the engine stand...went out the next morning and a BIG "Black Widow" crawled out of an exhaust port.........

This is the smile thread not the grinds your gears thread. Unless its making you smile because it gives you an excuse to end a bad relationship?

Sounds like it's time for a nice spirited drive then. That's my go to, nothing better than getting your mind off things with a late night cruise with the windows down.

Sorry to hear man. But maybe this wasn't a bad thing if it made you smile...

Didn't the boneyard give you an old tire to sit it in? Engines that I've bought from them have always done so; then they plop the engine in that tire, as it keeps it from rolling around the back of the bed.

You know, I think by law you're allowed to breakup with your girlfriend before she cheats on you... Since it was a bad relationship and all.

Doing a quick radiator install before heading home. Got the new one at a good price. And it's the bigger version of the two options available. Love this car.

I heard it before we took the engine out. Wicked sound.
Now I'm looking forward to the car having three pedals. Clutch and trans will be installed later today or tomorrow.

77 Vette
68 Charger "General Lee"
70 Challenger T/A my car of course
82 Fiat Sypder
And there's a 75 Vette in the front shop.
I've dreamed about what it was like back in their heyday. To see them everywhere nothing but classics on the streets. Nothing today is better looking than them in my opinion. Being 22 all I get to see is the survivors. That's why I save what I can. And wish I could save them all. Might be one of the reasons I feel at home at classic car shows and not "cars and coffee" events.
Another thing that made me smile is a local (2) 70 Torino Cobra owner stopped by for some opinions on exhaust. Fingers crossed it'll be coming soon. My favorite Ford right alone with a 69 GT 429 SCJ/Boss 429.

Every day is a joyride.

It is. Except that I broke the bolt off the shifting bracket due to over tightening. Just a quick check on everything before letting the car down. Had it tighten as much as when I took it off. Felt a little loose so snugged it up some more and the nut falls off, with part of the bolt in it. Called Ford around $225 if I run it through our shop; $303 is the list. It's that much because you have to buy the entire shifter system. No sold separately. So, said F that and did some cutting and welding. I'll replace the bracket later this summer possibly. Probably give Delk a call and see if they have one of one of their parts cars.
Sorry, it was not cooperative. It's got about a 1/2in of play side to side when in gear.

Every day is a joyride.
