What made you smile today...?

No longer in production. They were the second full set for sale I've seen since 2013 (when I started looking). Bought them in early March. And I just haven't got around to installing them until today.

Not saying Scorpion isn't ruthless. That's is real first name along side, coldbloodedkillerofalltime, but really. The worst of enemies and being got in the back. Scorpion wants Sub-Zero to see it coming and not be able to stop it. IMO. Those two were my go to if I lost with anyone else. Always saved them for last in tournament s. You know just in case.

Free health care makes injuries almost fun. How stressed do you guys get when you break an arm? I couldn't imagine worrying about being on medical leave and having to pay a few grand to get treated.

I don't mind a free market and capitalism. I prefer the ability to see the doctor of my choice, use the insurance of my choice (or none at all if I choose to pay out of pocket).

I know that things in Canada are a bit different, and it apparently works for you guys. Under our current BS law we are forced to purchase a product that is loaded with crap we don't need. That product is also over priced.

When the law was shoved down our throats I chose to cancel my insurance. I will gladly pay the illegal fine the IRS is in charge of. I go to my doctor of choice, and I pay the bill. At the end of the year I come out cheaper this way.

I chose my doctor too! #familydoctor. We're not so different out here, we just pay a flat rate that varies from province to province . The last time I paid for it in Quebec, it was something like 350$ for the year. It was my only year paying for it as an adult. Most companies will pay for it and offer other benefits like massages , extensively reduced pharmaceuticals and etc . I had 2 surgeries that year , so that was good. Now that I am in the military , I have absolute coverage.

It sounds like you can afford it probably wouldn't faze you. I will say that last time I was in San Diego , some friends and I watched a man being heavily assaulted . We intervened and stopped the fight. The man was hardly conscious while we provided first aid. Everyone watched and didn't do anything . I was shocked when someone told us not to call 911 because it was cost that dude a fortune. How could anyone say that when this guy was bleeding out on a sidewalk. He seemed to have broken ribs and his nose was in rough shape.

If it's not life threatening, have someone take you to the hospital. Sad recommendation, but it saves us around $2k.

I'm saying this, and I'm a paramedic. Ive ran plenty of people who call for an ambulance, that flat out do not need one. But hey, if you want to waste one to two grand on a "glorified taxi" ride, I'm not going to stop you. You're paying my wage.
