There was a nice 2004 here at auction a month ago, nice deep red v8, & stuff. i looked awesome, then i sat in it & i lost all interest. flat dash, all 1 grey color, looks like cheap plastic.
No style at all.

Even though it rained, I got to appreciate my recent detail job by seeing the water bead as I left work.

Near perfect working conditions. Around 75 with a nice cool breeze and overcast.

Gas engine which is pretty much a 4.6 with a taller deck height at 326,000+ I can't complain one bit, it's also very assuring. 5.4's and 4.6's are great, this truck is a dog now but it can still pull a bit lol.

It's a Chevy. I will give him $0.50

A Challenger would be a different story.

I would buy the new LT1 Camaro in a heartbeat if I found it visually appealing.

I do want a Challenger in addition to the stang though, the Yellow Jacket just grabs my attention the most.

I am a Mopar fan. I'm pissed about the discontinuation of the Viper though. Fiat is screwing up a great car company.

So far the only American auto manufacturer that is not a sellout is Ford. However, they put a freakin ecoboom in the GT.

To put a 4cyl in a Mustang bothers me. I don't care that it has a turbo. A 4cup doesn't belong in a muscle car in my opinion. However, the Mustang is a car for the general population and build for the average car buyer.

To put a turbo charged v6 in the GT is an abomination. That is an iconic beast that does not deserve to be neutered.

Wasn't it so they could race in a certain class with it though? Or was that the plan all along?

I wouldn't be pissed about the Viper they have plans. The viper sales sucked anyway hardly anyone was buying them. I think Chrysler in general is doing much better with Fiat.

Should've offered a baby viper. With the 6.4 HEMI or something.

The Viper sold more than the GT. The high end Vettes are America's top selling performance car made by the "big three".

Well yeah the Ford GT is not really a production car and is expensive as hell. The viper to me is gaudy as hell and the one I drove years ago was uncomfortable and crude. I'm sure they got better but I'm sure they are coming out with some type of Alfa Romeo engineered more refined replacement.

The Viper really is a drivers car, buddy of mine got one recently and Jesus is it unforgiving.

Maybe that's why it doesn't sell much, people just want to gas it and go, while not worrying about much else.
