The good thing is if someone pisses him off all he has to do is ram them and the mass of the car will destroy anything in its path. :duckhunt:

LAME

Now as big of a Mustang enthusiast as I am, I'm sorry but NO. This would be like replacing the General Lee with a Corvette, or Eleanor with a GTO.

What's next? When the A-Team movie gets made in the near future, is B.A. gonna be pimping the guys around in an Escalade rolling on spinning chrome 22's??

I agree with mark and silent on this one... I love mustangs as much as everyone else here does, but take the glory away from the original kitt car and put it in the hands of a ford???? WFT? thats like making steve mcqueen drive a dodge...

at least... since they no longer make a TA, they could have made it an 09 camaro (YUM), show some brand loyalty.

werd.

i think the Camaro front end was made for a KITT rendition, and would be perfect with the sweeping array. and hell, just throw a flaming chicken on there and boom, insta-transam.

Re: KITT is a mustang?

They could have used a WS-6 for KITT just as well.

And prolly saved some cash.

Do you think that any auto company out there would allow them to use an old product in today's day and age? Today you use new or you don't get to use it at all.

That is exactly it...and ford probably came in with the highest offer...

Re: KITT is a mustang?

I think the Knight Rider guys should have went to Pontiac and said that they wanna bring the show back and need a new KITT, and asked if they wanna bring the Trans Am back and if they did wanna bring it back it would have been great publicity. Cuz c'mon is bound to happen, the Camaro came back, the GTO came back, the Charger came back, and now the Challenger is comin

Re: KITT is a mustang?

Chev/GM is actually being smart right now IMO. They're bringing back the popular names from yester-year, but their not over-saturating things by bringing back everything all at once. We may one day see a T/A or Firebird back in their product line, but they have ot make sure that the new Camaro will have a strong following first.
