For those that say just don't use gas..I drive over 300 miles a week just to and from work. I also drive a diesel F250 for work everyday hauling over 10k pounds. Not filling up is just not an option.

We, as consumers, have no control over gas prices. If you really want them to drop get this dead-beat President out of office. Obama wants our gas prices equal with Europe ($9-$10 per gallon) so we will buy more efficient vehicles and use less gas. If gas prices go that high nobody can afford a new vehicle so it's all pointless.

In conclusion, if you don't like gas prices now vote Obama out of office. They're only going up from here with him in office. If you like Obama, then you must like $10/gallon gas.

Re: Listen up!!! Gas prices!!!

Hmm, didn't seem to be many people observing the boycott today. There were still a lot of cars there when I filled up. In fact I went in to buy a coffee and when I came out there was a car waiting behind me since all the other pumps were already taken.

I'm confused as to how using less gas will really make the price go down. There are not enough suppliers for this. If we don't use it, they will just shut down oil production. Decrease supply. There isn't much in terms of storage for crude. The suppliers aren't going to accept making less profit.

When gas hit $2 under bush the liberals wanted to crucify him. It's almost at $5 and all I hear is green energy.

The point is that people need gas to do their jobs. If you buy gas on Wednesday or Tuesday it doesn't matter the oil companies get paid. The only way to make an impact is to not buy gas whatsoever, and that will never happen.

That's where we are headed if Obama gets re-elected.
