Upgrading LCD

so i have 300$ cash from family and a 100$ gift card for best buy, and another 50$ when i take back Crysis (already have it and running, torrents pwn), and i need to upgrade my standard 19" LCD to something more favorable, wider, and bigger.

Any suggestions? i know best buy had a few Westinghouse 24" and 26" HDLCD's for around 550$, but i was also looking at just getting a 32" and running that, because come springtime im looking to move, and ill likely run my cable/directTV straight through my PC and just use the one TV for everything (TV and PC uses). anybody recommend anything thats still pretty cheap, good for my needs (gaming and tv) and is larger than 24"? am i limiting myself by sticking with Best Buy seeing i get basically 150$ freebie bucks?

Re: Upgrading LCD

If you get anything bigger than 1440x900 you can kiss playing Crysis on anything other than Medium good bye or you can say hello to another 500 dollar video card. I run a 24" LG @ 1920x1200. You can read up on Crysis benchmarks at [H]ard|OCP - www.hardocp.com and see how it performs at that resolution.

Re: Upgrading LCD

i can only run Crysis on medium as it is with just one 8800GTX. on High or anything over 4X AA it becomes pretty choppy.

methinks i will go shopping tomorrow. how do you think a 32" HDLCD would fare as far as computer useage goes? as far as i can tell, mostly anything past 24" is 1366 x 768.

Re: Upgrading LCD

1366x768 or whatever. i think anything larger than 26" wont do 1440x900, as i couldnt find anything past that size that did anything more than 1366x768.
