Re: Warner Brothers Go Blu-Ray Exclusive

I will:

Quote:
Blu-Ray is going to flop no matter how many studios or corporations back it. ask any normal person what it is and they have no idea, the only people that know are those in the know. ask any random person what HD-DVD is and they realize its HD which means its High Def and DVD, put them both together, and you get whats called "Product Recognition", people recognize both acronyms and put 2 and 2 together. you know what Blu-Ray is recognized with? probably something from a star trek episode.

its about money. thats all. HD DVD outsold blue ray, but now they just want a few more bucks out of everyone's pockets.

Re: Warner Brothers Go Blu-Ray Exclusive

Indeed they are. I'd be almost willing to purchase one of those TV's with the blue ray players and watch every movie made in blue ray just to be amazed at what I've missed lol

Re: Warner Brothers Go Blu-Ray Exclusive

Holy crap, I just went around browsing at those TV's, and Circuit City has an incredible deal on one of their Samsungs.

Buy the Samsung 46" LCD HDTV and other LCD & Plasma TVs at circuitcity.com

Price was: $3399.99
You save: -$200.00

$3199.99

***See Price in Cart***

You save: -$900.00

You pay: $2499.99

Damn good price for a new piece of technology, and a pretty large size.

Monte I am sorry but you a damn liar. I have seen complete idiots tell the difference. Just like people say they cant see the difference between HDTV and regular broadcast. Maybe you dont notice but try them side by side. I have watched a regular broadcast of a football came right next to an HD broadcast of that game. And you can tell a hell of a difference.

Try a bigger TV. A 32" TV is going to be 780p at best. Get a 42" and up with 1080p, and you'll see the difference.

I'd like to see the format war end, but it looks like the side that I want to win won't.

perhaps so... i also read that microsoft apologized to corel since they said one of their formats posed a threat to security when in reality it was microsoft's fault (i forget the details).

its the end of the world as we know it.

Don't forget MD. Playstation isn't a format, is a game console... very different things.
