Alarm systems?

So my step-dad was up rly early this morning cuz he couldnt sleep and saw someone trying to jimmy their way into a neighbors brand new suv. So I was thinking about getting an alarm system. Any of you guys have one that you would recommend? thanks.

i had a viper on my last car and loved it, don't have anything on my currnt car

i wouldn't go viper....mine went crazy and i ended up ripping the POS out....i'd look else where

quality of install is gonna be one of the biggest things with alarms and why peoples go haywire

I had a viper in the old car...after turning the sensor all the way down...and a little bit more...it wasn't bad. I've been looking around at something for the new car but can't decide. Any of the viper/python/etc alarms would do the job though. If they want in the car they'll get it, just trying to keep the honest man honest is all you'll do.
