Anyone with Liberty Mutual Insurance..?

How are they with accidents? I got in my first one and I'm really afraid they'll raise my insurance or I'll have to pay for the repairs and not the other drivers insurance company. Please help!!

My insurance is part of liberty. They will raise your rates if the accident was your fault. If not you're good. The other party has to pay for your deductible

+11 Plus some times they will just waive the deductible all together!.. They did that for me twice!.. Four incidents and they only charged me the deductible just once!..

Re: Anyone with Liberty Mutual Insurance..?

I've had Liberty Mutual for a number of years and they have been great.

Only claim I can think of was a big one too. My wife was on the expressway and ran over a bike that fell off a camper. Tore a hole in the oil pan and the engine siezed up. I went to pick her up with my Explorer and hit a deer an hour later wiping out the front end of the Explorer.

Had to pay the deductible but they repaired both cars (new engine in her car, and everything from the windshield forward on the Explorer). Never touched our rates and in fact gave us a 'safe driver' discount the next year.

chances are great that your rates WILL go up. You get to pay insurance so when accidents happen you are covered, but thats not good enough so the insurance company has to raise the rates so you repay them for their services (which you pay for to begin with).

I don't know, I had an accident in my old car, I was at fault, but my insurance didn't go up. It was almost totaled.

With Liberty it usually depends if your found at fault, as to if your rates go up or not!.. Four accidents and about ten speeding tickets later and my rates only went up once with liberty!.. Lol.

Hmm. Sounds like they're pretty good. I'm just hoping I win this case. I got a quote for my car and it's going to be $5000 in repairs and there's no way I'm paying that because some kid wasn't paying attention and turned into me.
