Well it matters on your height and weight I would say. I'm 5'11 ,200lbs and my first bike was 1999 zx-9r. It has plenty of power for my size. Never buy new just like everyone has mentioned. Eventually every motorcycle needs to be worked on some more than others. Just make sure to check the brake pads, brake rotor, slack in wheel bearings, check all the lights and gauges. If you like Suzuki get a gsxr 750. If you get a 600 you'll regret it once you get use to it. Good luck

Agreed- the 750 is tame enough to start on and has room to grow in to.. All around good bikes.
Plus you can swap in a 1000cc real easy.

Here's ya a couple of home made Harley-Davidsons, hiaa bussa killers. Made in the heart land of the good ol USA, by Indiana hillbillys. If this hillbilly knew how to post a video, I'd show ya what a real bike sounds like. $1500 and the ol ladys pressure cooker built the gray one.

Deep in to the 6's(all 3 with square slicks. Busa and two ZX11's

Black busa runs 8.88 every time.
This is me and my uncles drag race set up.. Only thing I care to drag is my knee.

Damn that Busa is sick, I sat on one and its big but also very sturdy. It also explains why they easily top 200mph. I still wouldn't mind a cbr 600 that "only" tops 160mph.

Impressive, even for rice. Maybe you can help me out. I was wondering why NHRA makes HD add more weight. Seems to me like bike and rider should weigh the same across the board, instead of adding weight to one in the interest of racing.... PUZZLED .....Caint figure it out.

I'm not sure, I know Moto GP has similar rules as does AMA for V style engines. Probably something to do with tq ratings vs inline style engines.. Ducati has been crying foul for years now.. Pretty sure WSB also has similar rules.

My uncle started his pro career on HD's and was just as fast. He switched because the factory backing of HD and Vance & Hines sucked, don't know the whole story but he says they screwed him on a bunch of cash.

I have a 2010 cbr600rr leyla edition. I love it! I think they are both good bikes. I just prefer the RR. Since I have owned two so far.
