Mine had half assed primer red faded paint, burnt up piston rings, 350 w/ turbo 350 trans (3 spd), passenger side shock was busted through the chassis, rust galore, literally 6-8 mpg, open headers. It struggled to get up to 60mph. Only thing nice in it was the edelbrock dress up kit, and the new 650cfm carb. Mine was a piece but there nice trucks if ya do em right.

Mine was owned by a retired couple. They only drove it on weekends and trips. It was in their garage at all times when it wasn't driven. I bought it with 14K original miles. Not bad for an '03!

I was with my dad on our way to buy a 1995 corvette. We test drove it and all, but on the next dealership I saw the mustang. Sure it was only a v6 but man was it beautiful. Long story short I gave the salesperson back the keys, walked to the next dealer and basically just bought it. And no I defiantly do not regret getting a v6 over a lt1! I love my mustang!

I was on the way to get my paycheck. I was riding my rad honda reflex scooter. It was 250cc so it still moved. Drove by dealer and saw it. I think it was priced at 1800. I came back and offered him, hoping he'd say no kinda lol, to trade the scooter plus give me 500 for car. He went for it, cash paid plates n such got few hundred back. I knew car had issues, unfortunately many put a ton into. Runs good now, but debating on if go through w cosmetics found or shown frame rot in front end. Might just keep it a rat.

When I was 15, almost 16, a commercial came on TV while we were talking about cars and it was of a mustang and my mom made the joke "maybe we'll just get you one of these" and I told her I was going to hold her to that haha. 4 months before I turned 16 my dad took me to a dealership and showed me a sonic blue 2004 v6 and I really liked it, month later he was saying I wasn't showing interest and saying I didn't even want to test drive it. Truth was I was scared to drive it because it looked so nice haha, I then begged him to take me there for a test drive. I went with my mom while my dad stayed, turns out me and my mom arnt god with directions and we got lost for an hour haha. We finally made it back and my dad said he bought the car and was going to hide it for 3 months until my birthday but couldn't because I wanted it so bad haha...the 3 months I waited were awful but I survived and she's looking prettier than ever!

i bugged my father inlaw for about 2 years to sell it to me. finally he realized that is was way more work than he could handle. he doesnt have a garage anymore and this project needed some serious work. finally they needed there bathroom rebuilt and he told me if i helped redo there bathroom he would sell it to me. about half way through the bathroom i alsmost changed my mind. lol i did new : floor, ceiling walls, vanity, sink, tub, wiring, lights, fan. toilet, etc etc. and the biatch about it was they live in a trailer. and they bought all stuff that was made for a house. about 3500$ worth or stuff i had to redo. arghhh. i told my wife there bathroom is worth more than the whole place. after that i picked it up the next week for 500$
but anyways here is a couple pics.

I was originally gna drive the 1969 Fastback we were gna swap engines and get it back up and running. I really wanted a 99-04 GT silver with Bullitt rims lowered and everything. I came across an ad on Craigslist and called the guy. He had it up for $2,800. The car was in mint condition he just didn't wana deal with fixing the engine. It sucked up water in the cold air intake and seized the engine. He broke a couple of pistons. My uncle went to look at it for me on Wednesday said it was perfect and a cheap fix. He talked to my dad and my mom they went to go check it out. Dad said they were gna buy it for my mom I was mad! Friday I went with my dad to check it out and when we got there,It was love at 1st sight! A tow truck was waiting there my dad said they bought it for me as a surprise it was my dream car!! Two weeks later Destiny(my car) was up and running. Now the 1969 fastback is a work in progress. Today we pulled the engine out. Going for a full restore!

I was home on leave from Iraq back in '07 ridding around with my folks and saw it!.. A couple of local dealerships were having a Blow Sale to make room for some new models!.. Well my dad pulls into the lot just to look at it, and I end up taking it for a quick test drive!.. Two hours later I'm driving it home!.. Lol Three days later I'm heading back to Iraq!!... At the airport I hand my mom the keys and my dad says, "Why does she get the keys?.." I said, "Because moms not afraid to exercise this Pony!!..." lol (years ago my folks had a '69 Cougar Eleminator that my mom took up to 120+ mph going down a dirt road!..) lol

I don't want this to come off the wrong way but I had to earn mine. I had to get straight a's in high school and my parents would buy me one. Instead of grades I made all-state in 3 sports and I got a green mustang convertible. Had it through college and got rid of it Then I met my husband because of his 01 Bullitt and we traded it in and I bought him a 09 Shelby GT500. After a few months of enjoying his toy, I wanted another one. Bought an 07 GT convertible. Had that for a few months and then found a 08 Shelby GT500. Couldn't pass up a good deal. Now I hope to never get rid of them.

Re: how you got your stang

Bought my 88 5.0 after having a couple of Formula Firebirds with BBC's. The 5.0 felt a lot better on the road then those old GM POS.
